(Clearwisdom.net) 1. [Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Guan Xiqing and Zhang
Bingxiang on the Verge of Death after Extended Period of Persecution Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Guan Xiqing (from Hulan County, Heilongjiang
Province) and Mr. Zhang Bingxiang (from Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province) are
currently being held in the No. 4 Brigade in the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp in
Heilongjiang Province. Due to their extended periods of imprisonment and abuse,
both Mr. Guan and Mr. Zhang are suffering from rashes all over their bodies.
They can hardly summon enough strength to sit upright, and both are emaciated
due to malnutrition. They have not been able to leave their beds in two months.
In addition, Mr. Zhang has lost consciousness several times. Their lives are in
imminent danger. 2. [Puyang City, Henan Province] Police Unlawfully Arrest a Falun Dafa
Practitioner After meeting with a practitioner from Beijing in the evening of October 17,
2003, a young Falun Dafa practitioner from Puyang City, Henan Province was
followed and arrested after the practitioner returned home. 3. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Qiaokou District Police Unlawfully Arrest
Falun Dafa Practitioner Gao Aihua Gao Aihua is approximately 38 years old, and is a Falun Dafa practitioner in
Wuhan City, Hubei Province. Gao has been missing since September 8, 2003, and
was last seen in the Gutian area of Qiaokou District. It was likely that Qiaokou
District police have arrested the practitioner. Based on partial statistics, on October 17 and 18, Qiaokou District police
and members of the "610 Office"* have abducted about a dozen Falun
Dafa practitioners (all of whom are around 60 years old) to the Qiaokou District
Brainwashing Class. * "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute
Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party
and all other political and judiciary systems. 4. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhu Shixue Held in
the Linyi City Detention Center Mr. Zhu Shixue, 70, is retired from the Northeastern Forest Bureau. He was
unlawfully arrested while distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials in
Lanshan District, Linyi City, Shandong Province around September 11, 2003. Mr.
Zhu is being held in the Linyi City Detention Center. 5. [China] China's Internet Police Blocks the Google Website The website google.com could still occasionally be accessed a few days ago
from within China. However, starting yesterday, it has been completely blocked.
According to posts in bulletin boards and newsgroups, even users located in
Shanghai and other big cities can no longer visit the site. 6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Lubei District Court Plans to Put Falun
Dafa Practitioners on Trial The Lubei District Court in Tangshan City, Hebei Province is planning to
stage a trial of Falun Dafa practitioners arrested for producing
truth-clarifying materials, including Mr. An Zhenjie, Ms. Guo Xiaohui, Ms. Zhang
Yunping, Mr. Sun Jianzhong, Mr. Han Xueyu, and others whose names are unknown.
These practitioners are currently being unlawfully held in the No. 1 Detention
Center in Tangshan City. 7. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Zhao Surong and
Ren Yuehui Sentenced to Prison Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Zhao Surong and Ms. Ren Yuehui are from Ziyang
City, Sichuan Province. They were arrested and sent to the Ziyang City Detention
Center. On September 27, 2003, the Yanjiang District Court unlawfully sentenced
them to prison; Ms. Zhao's term was four years and two months, and Ms. Ren's was
four years. Both practitioners are currently held at the Ziyang City Detention
Center. 8. [Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Guo Ren'ai Is Held in
Custody On September 22, 2003, Guo Ren'ai went to the Huanan Forestry Bureau to
demand the return of fines and deposits unlawfully extorted by her employer.
However, the police arrested Ms. Guo again. She went on a hunger strike on the
first day of the detention. More than two weeks have passed and Ms. Guo has
taken neither food nor water. Her life was in imminent danger, and she was sent

Falun Dafa Practitioners The Jieyang City Police Department in Guangdong Province has long been
engaged in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. In mid-September 2002,
the police sabotaged a site where Falun Gong materials were stored. Numerous
Falun Dafa practitioners were unlawfully arrested, and over 20,000 Yuan* in cash
was confiscated, along with a high-speed printer, a motorcycle, and other
materials worth tens of thousands of Yuan. Among the practitioners arrested are
Mr. Chen Hanbo, Mr. Xie Xibo, Mr. Huang Dong, Ms. Li Xuelan, and Ms. Zhong Liena,
who were sentenced to forced labor education. They are being held at the Sanshui
Forced Labor Camp and the Women's Forced Labor Camp in Guangdong Province for
persecution. In addition, in mid-June 2003, several Falun Dafa practitioners were secretly
sentenced to prison. Mr. Cai Yonghua was sentenced to nine years in prison. Mr.
Wu Kaitao, Ms. Lin Shaofang, and Ms. Huang Shirong were each sentenced to seven
years in prison. Individuals responsible for the persecution in Jieyang City, Guangdong
Province are listed below. The Intermediate Level People's Court in Jieyang City: Liu Fusen, judge; Zhou
Xumao and Xie Xiu'e, alternate jurors; Chen Aiping, secretary. Rongcheng District People's Court in Jieyang City: Lin Guang, judge; Zheng
Wenzhen and Huang Shaowen, jurors; Chen Shaobin, secretary. Rongcheng District People's Prosecutor in Jieyang City: Jiang Zhaoming,
inspector. * Yuan is the Chinese currency. The average monthly salary of an urban
worker in China is 500 Yuan. 10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Chen Xiao'e Taken
Away and Her Home Ransacked On May 25, 2002, Falun Dafa practitioner Chen Xiao'e in Wuhan City, Hubei
Province was unlawfully arrested. At around midnight, a group of police officers
from the Xin'an Street Police Station in Qiaokou District went to Ms. Chen's
home to conduct an unlawful search. Her suitcases were pried open, and all
drawers and cabinets were pulled open and turned upside-down. Besides Falun Dafa
books and portraits of the founder of Falun Gong, the police also removed
deposit receipts for the savings account Ms. Chen opened for her daughter in the
China Construction Bank. Ms. Chen has since been sentenced to education by
forced labor, and her 12-year-old daughter has been left at home alone. 11. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Elderly Falun Dafa Practitioner Shi
Huifeng Sentenced to Forced Labor Education Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Shi Huifeng, who is in her late sixties, is from
the Liwan area of Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. The police detained her in
mid-June this year and unlawfully searched her home. She has been sentenced to
one year in a forced labor camp and is being held in the Chatou Forced Labor
Camp. 12. [Weiyuan, Sichuan Province] Police Arrest Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang
Yong In the evening of October 18, Mr. Wang Yong from Weiyuan, Sichuan Province
was unlawfully detained by police on criminal charges for distributing Falun
