By a Dafa practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) This morning, a practitioner described one of his dreams to me. He said, "There were two people: one had a very handsome face and after he died, people opened up his stomach and saw that it was full of dirty, rotten things. The second person was average looking and nothing special. He killed himself because of a small thing that he could not get over. People opened up his stomach and saw that he was bright, shiny, and magnificent inside. Everyone shook their heads and felt sorry for him. This person had actually done very well in his cultivation, but he couldn't see it, and so he committed suicide because of a small mistake he had made. Hence, he ended up wasting all that he had accomplished."

After hearing this story, I understood something: during this unique historic period of Fa-rectification, Dafa practitioners are going through an unprecedented and cruel persecution. During the persecution, many practitioners are forced to leave their homes and lose their jobs. For everyday people, these practitioners don't seem to be accomplishing anything and are nothing special; but from the point of view of cultivators and gods, these people are doing the most sacred and most remarkable work of validating the Fa and saving sentient beings.

As we are so close to the end of the Fa-rectification period, we have to be very careful not to have any human notions. We should never stop progressing in our cultivation just because we can't see what we have accomplished in cultivation, nor should we give up cultivation and hence ruin everything. Teacher said, "What awaits Dafa disciples in the future are supreme and eternal glory and mighty virtue!" ("Teaching and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference")
