Two Experiences of Clarifying the Truth in Difficult Situations

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a Dafa disciple who has been taken away by the police a few times, and who with righteous thoughts, has just escaped recently from a forced labor camp. From my experience of clarifying the truth to people, I realized the power of compassion. I also discovered that, currently, many of those who have done harmful things to Dafa and to practitioners joined in the persecution of Falun Gong due to pressure from Jiang's regime, instead of acting from their own free will. Many sentient beings have been deceived by the propaganda that is full of lies and twisted stories. They are also waiting for us to save them.

One day I was distributing truth-clarifying flyers near a residence association office. I noticed that a few staff members of the association were following me. As I turned around and looked directly at them, they went away down another road. After I finished handing out the flyers, the head of my work unit found me and told me, "The residence association called us and said that you were distributing flyers over there." I immediately recalled what Teacher had said in "Teaching the Fa at the Washington DC Fa Conference": "Wherever there's a problem, that is where you need to clarify the truth and save people." So I went to the residence association office and asked them about the phone call to my work place. At first, they did not want to acknowledge that they had done it. I then took the opportunity to clarify the truth to them. Finally they said, "We did not have any choice. Please forgive us."

Another time when I went to a park to post some truth-clarifying materials, I was accosted by a physically powerful man. With a fierce look, he said to me, "Don't you know that you will be sentenced to jail for doing this?" I thought the reason he treated me this way might be because he did not know the truth of Dafa or who Dafa disciples were, and that he thought I was making trouble for him. So I talked to him with a sincere attitude, "If I have truly made trouble for you, I feel very sorry." His tone immediately became relaxed. He asked me to sit down on a rock nearby. "Please sit down and tell me clearly why you want to do this." I answered his questions one by one, and explained to him about the facts of the persecution of Dafa and practitioners. I also told him of my own suffering, of being arrested and beaten many times and being sent to a forced-labor camp.

Further, I explained about some supernatural phenomena happening to Dafa practitioners. When the police wanted to shock me with electric batons, the electric baton, instead of shocking me, would wound the hands of the police themselves. As a result, the police were so scared that they never wanted to shock me again. After my spine was broken during torture by the police, it recovered in a few days without any medical treatment. I gave still more examples of the power of Dafa. He finally said to me, "Your Falun Gong is so good and you all are so good! It's us who have been deceived. You are actually suffering from this persecution. Let's go. I'll help you put up those flyers!"
