Bearing Witness To History: Paralyzed for Over 7 Years, Elderly Woman Walks Again Within Minutes After Meeting Teacher

(Clearwisdom.net) Our Teacher taught the Fa in Dalian City, Liaoning Province for the first time between March 27 and April 4, 1994.

I was fortunate to attend this class, and the memory of it will be etched in my mind forever. On March 27 from 8am to 12:00 noon, I listened to Teacher's Dafa lecture for four hours.

I noticed, among the crowd coming into the conference hall, a young man who carried his mother on his back, followed by his father. They sat down in the first row. After listening to Teacher's explication of Dafa, practitioners were awestruck. After the end of Teacher's lecture, the young man and his parents registered immediately for the Dafa class to be taught by Teacher.

That same day from 5pm to 7pm, the first of Teacher's ten lectures formally started. Again, the young man carrying his mother on his back, followed by his father, entered the conference hall and sat down in the first row.

Everyone in the conference hall waited very quietly for Teacher's arrival. This was Teacher's first visit to Dalian, thus people had no idea what to expect of Teacher and Dafa. They just waited quietly.

Then Teacher entered and walked directly towards the young man's family. Some attendees stood attentively with Teacher, observing. With a compassionate smile, Teacher talked quietly to the young man's mother: "Would you stand up?" The old lady was afraid to stand up. Then Teacher said again in a quiet tone: "Stand up now." Then the old lady stood up miraculously. Then Teacher said to her in a gentle voice: "Now walk." The elderly lady was afraid to walk. Teacher said again patiently and quietly: "Now walk." While saying that, Teacher pointed in the direction of the lady's back from a distance of around ten centimeters (or 4 inches). Miraculously, the lady walked. At that moment, Teacher said nothing and walked to the back of the platform.

The elderly lady kept walking, walking faster and faster, and circled several times in front of the platform. This family of three was terribly excited. Their eyes brimmed over with tears that ran down their faces. The excitement made them speechless. All of the students who were present and saw this miracle shed tears.

During the ten lectures, one could see that the husband and son no longer had to carry the lady on their backs. She attended all the classes, arriving on her own feet and continuing to walk back and forth.

After the end of Teacher's ten lectures, the elderly lady came on the stage and spoke. She introduced herself to the audience with her name, address, work unit and her personal experience. She explained that she was a researcher and senior engineer at the Chinese Academy of Science. She explained that she was paralyzed about 7 to 8 years ago and was unable to care for herself. Her life had no more value and she had felt she would be better off dead. Yet, after just a few minutes of treatment by Teacher, her disease disappeared and she retained full health.

Many of the lady's relatives, family members and colleagues witnessed the scene. The elderly lady said: "I met with our Teacher and attained Falun Dafa -- Truth, Compassion, Tolerance." Everyone said she was the luckiest and happiest person alive.
