(Clearwisdom.net) 1. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Harbin Dafa Practitioner Ms. Yang Yue is
Detained at Wanjia Forced Labor Camp Ms. Yang Yue is a Dafa practitioner from Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province.
She had been employed as a program host at Heilongjiang Province Television
Station. Within several days after being released from a forced labor camp, Ms.
Yang was illegally seized again and detained for another year at the detention
center. She has recently been moved to Wanjia Forced Labor Camp. 2. [Shiyan, Hubei Province] Shiyan Dafa Practitioners Display a More
Than Thirty-Meter-Wide Truth-Clarification Banner Several months ago, Dafa practitioners in Shiyan, Hubei Province displayed a
truth-clarification banner that was more than 30 meters wide. Their action
shocked the evil and enraged the local police. The Shiyan police are now
frenetically arresting Dafa practitioners. Shiyan Detention Center is packed
full with Dafa practitioners that were illegally arrested. Many of them were
illegally sentenced to forced labor or to prison. Unnamed sources indicate that
Dafa practitioners Mr. Luo Qihua and Mr. Zhang Long were sentenced to three
years of forced labor, and Dafa practitioner Ms. Wei Yan was sentenced to four
years in prison. Some Dafa practitioners succumbed to torture and brainwashing
in the brainwashing center, and revealed to the disciplinary guards information
about the Dafa work they were involved in. Consequently, the safety of many Dafa
practitioners and Dafa work outside the brainwashing center has been compromised.
For example, unnamed sources indicate that these practitioners revealed their
contacts in Wuhan. The recent arrests of Wuhan Dafa practitioners may be the
result of this betrayal of information. The immoral police count these arrests
as a major success and have become upbeat as a result. 3. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Police Abduct Six Mudanjiang Dafa
Practitioners On October 22, 2002 at 6:30 p.m., police from Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang
Province broke into several Dafa practitioners' homes and abducted six Dafa
practitioners. Although Dafa practitioners' families and their employers tried
to stop the police, the police took no notice of their remonstrations. Dafa practitioners abducted that evening included Mr. Liu Zhiyuan, Ms. Wang
Shurong, Ms. Zeng Deyun, Mr. Li Shuang, Ms. Zhongli, and another Dafa
practitioner whose surname is Jin. Their current whereabouts are unknown. The police made these arrests after they had listened in on their telephone
conversations. 4. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Dafa Materials Site in Longkou is
Destroyed Mr. Wang Wenqiang is a Dafa practitioner in Longkou City, Shandong Province.
On the evening of November 3, 2003, Mr. Wang was abducted. The items confiscated
from the materials producing site include a computer, two printers, a CD-burner,
and a laminating machine. 5. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Liu Changfu Is
Illegally Detained at Hehuakeng Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City Mr. Liu Changfu is a Dafa practitioner from Shanhaiguan, Hebei Province. The
police abducted Mr. Liu in June 2003. He gained his release after he protested
his illegal detention with a hunger strike. Mr. Liu also sent forth righteous
thoughts while in detention. At the end of October 2003, the police abducted Mr.
Liu again and sent him without delay to the Hehuakeng Forced Labor Camp in
Tangshan City. Even though Mr. Liu's blood pressure rose to 180, the labor camp
refused to release him. Mr. Zuo Hongtao is a Dafa practitioner from Shanhaiguan, Hebei Province. The
police abducted Mr. Zuo in June 2003. Mr. Zuo was released after he protested
the illegal detention by conducting a hunger strike with righteous thoughts for
18 days. At the end of October 2003, the police abducted Mr. Zuo again and sent
him directly to Hehuakeng Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City. Because Mr. Zuo
suffered from a head illness, Hehuakeng Forced Labor Camp demanded 10,000 Yuan
as the price to take Mr. Zuo in [500 Yuan is the average monthly income for
an urban worker in China]. Since the policeman did not carry this much
money, he could not pay the forced labor camp. As a result Mr. Zuo was brought
back. [Note: The staff is rewarded with a bonus if they successfully transform a
Dafa practitioner. Taking in a severely injured Dafa practitioner is a "risk" to
the staff at the forced labor camp because it is likely that by the time they
transform a Dafa practitioner and earn the bonus, they have already tortured the
already severely injured Dafa practitioner to death. This is why the forced
labor camp requires a health report for each Dafa practitioner before they take
him in. However, many forced labor camps nowadays receive monetary incentives to
keep and torture those Dafa practitioners who are slowly dying from the torture.
In cases like this, the forced labor camps will not release Dafa practitioners
even though they know they will not transform them successfully before their
death.] Unnamed sources indicate that the authorities in Qinhuangdao paid money to
have practitioner Mr. Wei Danquan abducted and brought to the forced labor camp.
Mr. Wei is a Dafa practitioner from Shanhaiguan, Hebei Province. He suffered
from a number of heart attacks, and although he was resuscitated each time, he
is in critical condition. Nevertheless, the authorities in Qinhuangdao refuse to
release him from the forced labor camp. Mr. Wei has gone on a hunger strike to
protest the illegal detention. 6. [Miyi County, Sichuan Province] Dafa Practitioners Illegally Detained at
Miyi County Detention Center Will Be Brought Before the Court for an Illegal
Trial According to a reliable source, the following Dafa practitioners are
illegally detained at Miyi County Detention Center in Sichuan Province: Mr. Zhu
Zhaojie, Ms. Zhu Mingchun, Mr. Liu Kunwu, and Ms. Que Faxiu (arrested at the
Dafa materials site in Huili). They will be brought before the court for an
illegal trial on November 17, 2003. The head of Xiange Village took his staff to the homes of Dafa practitioners.
He demanded that Dafa practitioners sign prewritten documents, stating that they
renounce Dafa. The police abducted Dafa practitioner Ms. Guo Guangxiu at the
Huili Dafa materials production site last year. Near the Chinese New Year this
year, Ms. Guo's family took her home after paying a 1,000 Yuan fine. She needed
medical treatment because of the injuries she suffered from the brutal tortures.
The police abducted Ms. Guo again from her place of work, Miyi Tiantian
Supermarket, and took her to the detention center. Ms. Guo will also be brought
before the court on November 17, 2003. 7. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] The Police Abduct Dafa Practitioners Ms.
Zhao Fengliang, Mr. Wu Kaili and Ms. Gong Yuehua Ms. Zhao Fengliang, is a 52-year-old Dafa practitioner from Jinchang City,
Gansu Province. In January 2001, Ms. Zhao was illegally sentenced to a forced
labor camp. In February 2002, Ms. Zhao was abducted again while distributing
truth-clarification materials and detained at the detention center for more than
five months. On October 29, 2003, Ms. Zhao was abducted again while on her way
to work as a vegetable vendor at a traditional market. Her current whereabouts
are unknown. Her husband, Mr. Wu Kaili, is also a Dafa practitioner. Mr. Wu was
sentenced to a year of forced labor in December 2001. In 2003 the police
abducted Mr. Wu again while he was distributing truth-clarification materials.
He is currently illegally detained in Wuwei City Detention Center in Gansu
Province. Ms. Gong Yuehua is a Dafa practitioner from Jinchang City, Gansu Province. On
October 24, 2003, the police abducted Ms. Gong while she was distributing
truth-clarification materials. She is currently illegally held at Jinchang City
Detention Center. The "610 Office" of the Justice Department of Jinchang City, Gansu Province
has established a forced brainwashing center in the former location of the
Yuanbao Town Treasury, Yuanbao Town, Jinchang City. Even the sign of the forced
brainwashing center is already in place, and they are now arresting Dafa
practitioners. [Note: "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun
Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all
other political and judiciary systems. Due to the pressure from the
international community, the Chinese Communist government has renamed "610
Office" as "Purge the Evil Cult Office" on October 15, 2003, and lied to the
world, stating that the "610 Office" has been "disbanded."] 8. [Lianzhou City, Guangdong Province] The "610 Office" in Lianzhou City,
Guangdong Province Abducted Many Dafa Practitioners The "610 Office" in Lianzhou City, Guangdong Province abducted three groups
of Dafa practitioners between September 11, 2003 and October 31, 2003. They were
sent to the forced brainwashing center under the direction of the "610 Office"
of Qinyuan City. The following is the list of the abducted Dafa practitioners: Xinzi Town: Ms. Huang Meilian, Ms. Huang Yuanzhen,
Mr. Peng Ligao, Mr. Deng Xianguang, and Ms. Huang Yingyun. Longping Town: Mr. Li Zhuojun, and Ms. Chen (a
retired schoolteacher) Lianzhou City: Mr. Xie Zhongzhi, Ms. Pan Qiuzhen,
and Ms. Liu Xiuwei for now. (The names of other abducted practitioners in
Lianzhou City are yet to be obtained.) Guangzhou police abducted Lianzhou City Dafa practitioner Mr. Xu Guoyi at the
end of June 2003. His current whereabouts are unknown. Telephone numbers of the people responsible for these abductions: 9. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Details about the Recent Persecution
against Several Changsha City Dafa Practitioners Ms. Tan Xiangyu, a 56-year-old Dafa practitioner, is currently illegally
detained at Changsha City Detention Center, Hunan Province. On August 22, 2003,
the police abducted Ms. Tan and three other Dafa practitioners. Those three Dafa
practitioners were from Xiangtan, Hengyang, and Yongzhou, respectively. Ms. Song Fangming is a 46-year-old Dafa practitioner. On November 4, 2003,
the Community Residence Committee in Zhaoyang Second Village, Furong District,
Changsha City, seized Ms. Song for a mandatory physical examination, while Ms.
Song was taking her daughter out for breakfast. Ms. Song is currently illegally
