When we learned that practitioners in Guam needed support to promote Falun Dafa in their area, two other practitioners and I traveled to Guam to help set up a new practice site. Local practitioners applied for permission to promote Falun Dafa in a park facing a busy street in front of the mayor's office. The location was ideal for promoting Dafa. We practiced for two hours in the morning and afternoon, rain or shine. We prepared several thousand flyers and distributed them around the city so people with predestined relationships could obtain the Fa.

The first day was quite rainy. We stayed under a pavilion to practice, but the rain still soaked our clothes. Halfway into the practice a person came to learn the exercises. On the second day, two people came; on the third day three came and on the fourth day four people came. More and more people came to learn the practice. At present, seven people come regularly to practice in the morning and more come in the afternoon.

Every day we went out at 5:30 a.m. and returned to our lodging at 10 p.m. The daily schedule was packed, as our time in Guam was so precious. We went to a local university to promote the Fa. One professor there was very supportive of Falun Dafa. She took us to the Director of Academic Affairs and showed him a DVD featuring Australian practitioners. He said, "It is marvelous." We introduced ourselves, saying that we were from Taiwan and that we had come all this way to introduce such a great practice to the people of Guam. We said that there was no fee involved, but that we just hoped for everyone to enjoy good health. We handed Dafa bookmarks to the director, with information on Dafa websites. He at once asked his secretary to download the exercise instructions. We made arrangement to teach the exercises from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. A beautifully designed poster of the Falun Gong exercises was posted on the school's bulletin board. Many people expressed interest in Falun Gong.

One day during the lunch hour, we distributed flyers in a supermarket. Someone invited us to a school to teach the students the exercises. Group after group of students came to learn the exercises. Over 100 students learned the exercises that day. The children all could sit in the double lotus position. During the practice they felt the wonderfulness of the exercises. They really loved it.

A Chinese battleship with 300 soldiers on board docked at the port. The soldiers got three days' leave to tour the city. Every day we wore our yellow Dafa T-shirts and distributed flyers and practiced the exercises. The soldiers saw that Falun Dafa was very popular outside of China. In the rest area of the shopping center we met many of the soldiers. We showed them the truth-clarifying DVD. We intentionally turned up the volume and found that they were all listening. Several courageous soldiers approached us and asked whether the DVD was for sale.

Besides the daily exercises and Fa study at the practice site, we also held a Fa study where we were staying in the evening. Every night we studied one chapter of Zhuan Falun. Because the people attending the study were from different countries, we read each paragraph alternating in Chinese, English and Korean.

A practitioner from Korea had seen many people practicing Falun Gong in Korea when he had gone home for a visit the year before, so he purchased a Korean edition of Zhuan Falun. He wanted to practice Falun Gong but could not find a practice site in Guam. On the first day that he came to the new practice site, he felt the rotation of Falun in his abdomen. On the second day his celestial eye was opened and he saw colorful Faluns spinning. The practitioner was really moved when he learned that because we had benefited so much from Falun Gong, we wanted to introduce Dafa to more people with predestined relationships, and all the expenses were paid out of our own pockets. He overcame many difficulties and accompanied us all the time to promote Dafa in Guam. He felt that reading the Fa aloud was very powerful during group study, very different compared to just reading the book silently. Group study and practice is the best cultivation way that Teacher has taught us.

The day before we returned to Taiwan, we wanted to have a group photo. To our surprise, each of the practitioners showed up. We thank Teacher for guiding people with a predestined relationship to obtain the Fa. In just nineteen days, the first practice site in Guam was established.
