Practitioners in Huadian City Cooperate Inside and Outside of the Court as a Whole to Bravely Clarify the Truth about Falun Gong By a Practitioner from Jilin City
(Clearwisdom.net) One day in June 2002, the Huadian City Intermediate Court
of Jilin Province began the trial of seven Dafa practitioners who were arrested
illegally because they clarified the truth about Falun Gong to the public.
Word got spread about this unlawful trial of Dafa practitioners.
Practitioners in Huadian City realized that they must take advantage of this
opportunity to clarify the truth to the public, and expose, deter, and eliminate
the evil while saving sentient beings.
The trial was conducted in the Huadian City Court. The court was strictly
guarded by many police officers. They interrogated each person in the court's
audience. Shortly thereafter, a large number of passers-by and Dafa
practitioners convened. Police and plain-clothes officers were all mixed into
the crowd. Some Dafa practitioners were sending out righteous thought and some
were taking advantage of this opportunity to clarify the truth and hand out
flyers about Falun Gong.
A little while later, a police van carrying unlawfully arrested Dafa
disciples drove by, and someone shouted among the crowd, "Falun Dafa is good!
Practitioners held in detention are innocent. Restore Teacher's good name!
Restore the good name of Dafa practitioners! Release Dafa practitioners now!"
Then practitioners inside the van also started to shout, "Falun Dafa is good!
Falun Dafa is a righteous Way! We are innocent!" The righteous outcries were
heard here and there continuously. The police were constantly looking for the
sources of the outcries. Practitioners in the crowd were so brave in facing evil
that they clarified the truth right in front of them. Some other practitioners
were sending righteous thoughts. Yet some other practitioners were clarifying
the truth to police and plainclothes agents. Some other practitioners were
moving around among the crowd to clarify the truth and handing out flyers about
Falun Gong. Some of the practitioners recognized Zhou Jian, the Chief of the
"610 Office"1 and they clarified the truth right in front of him.
Zhou could not answer the questions raised by practitioners and quickly turned
away, escaping into the crowd.
A female practitioner handed out several hundred pieces of truth-clarifying
materials during the whole day. She also clarified the truth to guards stationed
at the door of the court, telling them the principle of the karmic relationship
between good and evil. When one Dafa practitioner saw a reporter carrying a
video camera coming out of the court, he told the reporter that Falun Gong
practitioners were all good people. "They are putting their lives on the line to
clarify the truth to the public in order to help people. They should not be
tried, and should be listened to and respected." A few staff members in charge
of media said to this Dafa practitioner, "I know Dafa practitioners did not
break any law. You see, after we found out the truth, we stopped videotaping."
And when the court attendees came out, they were talking to each other and said,
"They did not break any law, why hold this trial? This is really pointless."
During this almost half-day trial, practitioners clarified the truth to several
thousand people and handed out several thousand pieces of truth-clarifying
materials. Close to 2 p.m. in the afternoon, because of the deterrence created
by the righteous forces, the court had to adjourn. Practitioner's cooperation as
a whole works wonders. No one knows when the court van that carried Dafa
practitioners left stealthily from the back.
