Why Didn't You Come Earlier?

(Clearwisdom.net) One day in mid-September, a fellow practitioner and I went to a rural area about 6 miles away from the city to distribute truth-clarifying materials. We went to Village No. 1 and distributed materials to each house there. The next day, on our way to Village No. 2, we stopped by Village No. 1 to look for water to drink. A villager said, "We received your Falun Gong materials. All the self-immolation and suicide cases on TV were lies. Falun Gong tells people to be good; I don't understand why our government persecutes Falun Gong." We seized the opportunity and told him more of the truth about Dafa. The villager was very happy and said, "I need to learn more about Falun Gong."

We went to Village No. 2. Even though it was daytime and people saw us distributing the materials, we kept distributing them to each house. At that moment a voice came from far away, "Are you Falun Gong practitioners?" We answered without any hesitation, "Yes!" "Are you Falun Gong practitioners?" We confirmed again, "Yes." "Please give me a copy of your materials." I ran over and handed him copies of two types of materials. The villager sat down on the ground in the middle of the road, and started reading them immediately.

Later he raised his head, "Why didn't you come earlier? I have wanted to learn more about Falun Gong for a long time." Just then a woman riding a bike came from the road behind me, and stopped in front of me. She asked, "Do you have any more Falun Gong materials? Please give me some copies." I gave her several copies. She put them into the carrier basket on her bike and went away happily.

I was speechless at that moment, happy for the waking sentient beings, but more importantly, I felt the responsibility of Dafa disciples. There are so many beings waiting to learn the truth about Falun Dafa and to be saved.
