2. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Dafa Practitioner Chen Sudan Illegally Jailed at the 1^st Labor Camp of Nanshan District, Shenzhen City.

Ms. Chen Sudan was abducted while handing out truth-clarifying materials in Shenzhen City, Guangdong province. It was verified that Chen was reported to the police, and is now being illegally detained at the 1^st Labor Camp of Nanshan District, Shenzhen City. The police announced that they would send her to the Guangdong Province Female Labor Camp.

3. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Wuhan Practitioners Including Wu Kexue Illegally Arrested by the Police.

Mr. Wu Kexue, a practitioner from Wuhan City, Hubei Province, was arrested illegally by the Nanshan District Police Substation in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province on October 22, 2003.

Chen Zeying and Zhen Wangying, mother and daughter from Fuxing Third Village in Wuhan City, were missing as of October 4, 2003. We suspect that they too were arrested.

At about 10:00 a.m. on October 15, 2003, practitioner Ms. Zhu Chunlan from Fenghuang County, Xinzhou District, Wuhan City was arrested by Guo Lisheng and Gao Zhilu, who drove up in two cars when Zhu was harvesting grain in a field. She was not even allowed to change her clothes. Now Ms. Zhu Chunlan is jailed at the Wuhan City Women's Detention Center.

At about 10:00 a.m. on October 15, 2003, officials from from Sandian County "610 Office" in Xinzhou District and the police broke into a school, and arrested Teacher Ding Yuliang (who is a practitioner from Sandian Primary School). Currently, Ding is jailed at the Xinzhou Detention Center.

5. [Jinan City, Shangdong Province] Six Collaborators Brought to the Liuchangshan Labor Camp in Jinan City to Brainwash Dafa Practitioners by force.

Recently, policemen from Weifang City transferred six collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to torture and brainwashing] to the Liuchangshan Labor Camp in Jinan City to launch another attempt to brainwash Dafa practitioners by force. They set a one-month deadline (November 1 to December 1) to achieve this goal. Participants were divided into two groups, each led by one policeman and three collaborators, who take turns trying to force the practitioners to give up their beliefs twenty-four hours a day.

6. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] The 610 Office in Henan Province Instigates Communist Cadres to Monitor Practitioners.

Recently, the staff at the "610 Office" in Henan Province began using new methods to persecute practitioners. They instigate newly promoted Communist cadres to monitor determined Dafa practitioners. The method adopted was to talk to the practitioners first, learn about their attitude, and pretend to offer help. Later, they arrange for someone to follow the practitioners, tap their phones, etc. In Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, there are people openly following Dafa practitioners.

7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xu Weiying, a Practitioner from Changchun City is Illegally Arrested.

Ms. Xu Weiying, a practitioner from Changchun City, Jilin Province was arrested illegally by officials from the Zhangqian Police Substation in the afternoon of November 14, 2003. The details are still unknown.

8. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Dashaping Bus Factory Jail in Lanzhou City Imprisons Dafa Practitioners.

Lanzhou Jail in Gansu Province is also known as the Dashaping Bus Factory Jail. Recently, the Gansu Province practitioners who are illegally sentenced to labor camps were transferred to this jail and have received inhumane treatment. Dafa practitioners in inadequate clothing are jailed in freezing cells, separated from the outside world, and suffer from hunger and cold. Many practitioners jailed there come from far away. Their families cannot visit them and therefore they only have very thin clothes to wear.

9. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Gongjiawan Brainwashing Class at Lanzhou City Persecutes Dafa Practitioners

Recently, various departments in Gansu Province plotted to arrest and forcibly brainwash practitioners. Additionally, they sent those practitioners who had finished their jail terms at labor camps, jails, or in detention centers to the brainwashing classes. The methods used to harass practitioners included forcing them to sit on a special metal chair, keeping them in confinement, and prohibiting them from sleeping. They even stripped off practitioners' clothing and tied them up day and night in the washroom. Some practitioners are severely emaciated due to the torture and can only move with difficulty. The practitioners are severely depleted both physically and spiritually.

Ms. Qi Guihua from Sanlizhaung, Shizhong District, Jinan City, Shangdong Province was illegally arrested by several policemen at her home on the morning of September 18, 2003. Her whereabouts are still unknown.
