SUNY Albany Holds "Journey of Falun Dafa" Picture Show (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) From November 10 to 12, 2003 the "Journey of Falun Dafa" picture show at State University of New York Albany attracted many students' attention.

The picture show was initialized by Amnesty International Student Club at the university. In three days, we collected over 800 signatures. Many students heard Falun Gong for the first time and felt very interested. Students read the display boards of rescuing Charles Lee and took the initiative to sign their names for support. Some students came to learn the exercises. They were serious and could sit with both legs crossed. One of them said he had a bad mood in the morning. After the exercises, he felt happy and relaxed.

Two female students came to our place and learned the truth about the persecution. They signed the names and asked for a few blank signature forms. They would bring back to their university in another city and to collect more signatures for rescuing Charles Lee.

After the picture show, there was a forum about Falun Gong in the evening. The president of Amnesty International first introduced the facts AI collected from China about Chinese government violated its own constitution and international law, and the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Next, a practitioner introduced the basics about Falun Gong and its popularity in the world, the persecution in China and its extension to oversea countries. She also introduced the lawsuit against Jiang and the support from the US Congress. One practitioner talked about her own experiences of being tortured in China. In the end, there was one hour for exercise instructions, and questions and answers. The forum started at 7PM and completed at 10PM. The three-day event completed successfully.

The picture show was displayed outdoors. Though it was cold, the practitioners used their hearts to do. Two groups of practitioners drove a long distance to help about the activity. Seeing the people began to know the truth, the practitioners felt warm in their hearts.
