By a Dafa Practitioner in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province

(Clearwisdom.net) I was arrested shortly after walking out of my door, around 7:30 a.m. on August 26, 2003. Some twenty policemen forcibly dragged me into a car. In the process, my right ankle got twisted and is still hurting today. My two calves had scratches and were bleeding. The part of my thigh near the hip had a wound 3 inches long. The left side of my chest and left rib also had scratches. There were two patches of black and blue marks on my legs. After I was dragged into the car, I was pushed down and not allowed to move.

I was sent to the "Law Education School" of the Shenyang Zhangshi Labor Camp. A group of collaborators* came up to assault me right away. Their language was venomous and vulgar. They forbade me to sleep and force-fed me. After a few days, the collaborators brought what they wrote and tried to force me to sign it with some arm twisting by a couple of them. I asked what it was. They told me that signing this paper would help to get me back home.

We were also forced to view the videos that slandered and attacked Dafa. We frequently sent forth righteous thoughts. Zhou Cuihong watched over each of us, to observe if we were paying attention to the video. Then she reported to the guard. "Helper and Instructor Team" members Zhou Cuihong, Gao Bo, Wei and Zhang were all very vicious.

An elderly woman, Shi Shengying, was bailed out to the hospital from the Masanjia Labor Camp. Her release from her illegal forced labor term was overdue. However, she wasn't released until today and was sent here for further persecution. Now her hepatitis has gotten much worse. She fainted several times. There were several swollen bumps on her head due to being beaten. Her daughter was released from Masanjia Labor Camp but is now detained again in the Longshan Labor Camp. Mrs. Shi's husband was also arrested and brought here. People from the "610 Office" and the "School" didn't permit Mrs. Shi to talk to anyone. She didn't even know that her husband had also been arrested.

The guards from the "Helper and Instructor Team" had beaten Dafa practitioner Ms. Guo Jing until she was numb and in a stupor. She could not open her eyes, had difficulty speaking, and could not raise her arm. But the police insisted that she was faking. Now more than two months have passed since she has been detained here. She had gone on a hunger strike for nearly 20 days. Every day she was not allowed to sleep. The persecution is still going on.

Ms Liang was a disabled person in her sixties. She was in good spirits when she came in. Three days later she was tortured until she became mentally unstable. The guards instigated members from "Helper and Instructor Team" to threaten her to write the "Regret Letter," "Criticism letter," etc. She wrote mostly things from Dafa. When the guards saw that they attacked her fiercely, but never was she rattled. The guards were at their wits end.

On August 27, people from the "610 Office" arrested a woman and her daughter and brought them here. They had left their homes to avoid the persecution three years ago. The mother became mentally unstable under the threats from the "610 Office" and stayed in the asylum hospital for a while. The daughter was accompanying her mom and they were arrested together. The daughter does not practice Falun Gong. When coming here, the 23-year-old daughter was frightened so badly that she lay on the bed all day and had to have two people to support her while walking. Later she was sent to the asylum and was diagnosed as having suffered a mental breakdown. The mother, 52 years old, was a cashier in the Zhongxing Building. At the time of this writing, the mother and daughter still didn't have a place to stay.

*Collaborators are former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture.
