2003 Southeast US Fa Conference Solemnly Held
Master Li Comes in Person to Teach and Explain the Fa (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 29, 2003, nearly 1000 Falun Dafa practitioners from North America and other countries gathered at the World Congress Center in Atlanta to attend the 2003 Southeast US Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference.

At 2:40 p.m., our respected Master arrived at the conference amid practitioners' warm applause and taught and explained the Fa for four hours. During his Fa-lecture, Master once again emphasized the importance of truth clarification, and told practitioners that the main purpose of clarifying the truth is to save sentient beings.

During the Fa conference, practitioners shared their understanding on improving xinxing [mind nature, moral character] in Fa-rectification cultivation and their experiences in unremitting truth clarification to all strata of society. A 12-year-old practitioner shared her experiences in chat rooms on the Internet, where she got to know more than 100 friends and helped them learn about the true situation of of Falun Dafa. Those friends appreciated her sincerity, kindness and insights beyond her years.

Forming a sharp contrast with the persecution in China, Falun Dafa overseas, especially in the North America, has won people's recognition and popularity. Taking this Fa conference as an example, many governments in Georgia and non-governmental organizations, the mayor and congressmen sent congratulatory letters to the Fa conference, expressing their best wishes for the Fa Conference's great success. They hoped that Falun Dafa practitioners who are suffering persecution in China would obtain freedom soon. The Mayor of Columbus proclaimed November to be the city's Falun Dafa Month.

After Fa conference concluded, many practitioners continued discussing how to better clarify the truth.
