By a Falun Dafa Practitioner in China

Originally three people in my uncle's family practiced Falun Gong. But since July 20, 1999 my aunt was the only one that persisted in studying the Fa and practicing the exercises. They also did not understood why I went out to tell people the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Over the past four years, I have continued to deliver Master's new books and articles to them and continued to share my experiences with them. Last month, I gave them more than ten truth-clarifying CDs to watch and encouraged them to pass them on to others after they were done. My aunt wholeheartedly agreed to my request. She went so far as to say, "If I have flyers, I will take them to the leader of our village. Her attitude toward clarifying the truth had completely changed. It is like what Master has said,

Through this, I have become more aware that we should not just look at the surface of those practitioners who have not stepped forward. The surface level is false and constantly changing. Based on my so-called common sense, I might have thought it was impossible for them to start practicing cultivation again and to go out and distribute truth clarification materials, because as judged from the so-called common sense, they themselves not only failed to do it, but also wanted to persuade me not to do it. Master says,

The next time I went to visit them, I took them more than 100 flyers and brochures. I also took them four truth-clarifying CDs. As she was seeing me off, my aunt gave me 50 Yuan [500 Yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China] and asked me to use the money to produce truth-clarification materials. My uncle said to me, in a serious tone, "This time, I will deliver the CDs to a family that has a VCD player, so they won't be damaged by kids."

As often as I was able, I would read them a short paragraph from an article by Master that spoke to a difficulty they might have been having. I shared my experiences with them and held no thought about giving up on them. I always tried to talk through things with them when they did not understand something. In this way, gradually, my family joined in efforts to produce and distribute truth-clarification materials, easing the pressure of other practitioners.

I think that we should be more patient when we are helping those practitioners who have not stepped forward. We should be tolerant. Every person has his or her cultivated side. Awakening to the truth is a process. If we can help those who have not stepped forward while we do things for Fa rectification, our local environment will keep improving. Let me quote what Master says to encourage us all,
