Mr. Li Dianzhong is a former employee from the No.6 Oil Cotton Plant in Ningjing County, Shandong Province. He was tortured to death in July 2003 d at the Zhangqiu Forced Labor Camp.

I met Li Dianzhong once. He was in his thirties, about 170 cm tall. He looked a bit overweight, but there was always a smile on his face. Since July 20, 2003, when the evil forces started to persecute Falun Gong, I heard that he was dismissed from his position, and survived by collecting waste products. When someone wanted to sell Dafa books, he would buy them even at a very high price in order to save them. Whenever I think of this, I feel sad and deeply moved as well.

On August 30, 2002, People's Inspection Institute at the New & High Tech Developing Area of Shenyang City filed charges against six Falun Dafa practitioners. On October 25, 2003, the People's Court at the New & High Tech Developing Area of Shenyang City conducted an illegal trial of the six practitioners:

Zhou Guixiang, a 58-year old Falun Dafa practitioner who died in 1999, worked at the East Railway Office at Wafangdian City. She had suffered from incurable illnesses, and she recovered from them miraculously soon after she practiced Falun Dafa. On July 20, 1999, Jiang's Criminal Group launched its persecution of Falun Dafa. In order to validate Dafa and restore Teacher's reputation, she went to Beijing twice in July. On August 17, she was escorted back to Wafangdian City and detained for half a month. During detention, she insisted on practicing Falun Gong and tried to clarify the truth to the policemen, the Municipal Party Organization Department and the authorities at her work unit. Later, she was released unconditionally due to her unshakable belief in Dafa. Since she and another practitioner were among the first group who were escorted back from Beijing, local government and relevant departments were seriously criticized by the municipal authorities of Dalian City. Zhou Guixiang was given a warning punishment within the Communist Party system in Wafangdian City. Therefore, great pressure was put on Zhou Guixiang.

After she was released, the Zhanqian Police Substation, the Municipal Organization Department, her work unit and Neighborhood Committee came to her home many times. They subjected her to great pressure, coercing her to give up practicing Falun Gong. Her work unit and the Commercial Town imposed a fine of 1000 yuan on her, deducting the funds from her retirement pension. The Commercial Town also threatened to cancel her retirement pension if she did not write a "statement of guarantee" not to practice Falun Gong. With pressure from many aspects, and deceived by false articles claimed to be Teacher's, she wrote a statement against her will. The same day after she wrote the statement, she realized that she was wrong after studying the Fa and exchanging ideas with fellow practitioners. She felt extremely miserable in her heart, and wrote a declaration right away indicating that the statement she wrote was null and void, and insisting on practicing Falun Dafa.

However, due to endless persecution for days, she felt mentally very stressed and began to vomit blood. On December 8, 1999, she died as a result of the injustice she suffered.

On the afternoon of October 15, 2003, the "610 Office" from Shiqiaokou District of Wuhan City, illegally arrested Ms. Peng Zhenxiu, a practitioner in her 60s from Jixian Village.

The Politics & Law Committee, the "610 Office" and the Public Security Bureau in Ningjin County continue to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners in Ningjin County after the SARS epidemic. They investigated practitioners one by one in order to make sure that all practitioners in the county give up practicing Falun Gong. Those who would not give up their belief were subject to forcible brainwashing. They also illegally arrested Falun Dafa practitioners. Aunt Liu was sent to Xingtai for forcible brainwashing after many illegal arrests and detentions. She was also subjected to all kinds of torture methods.

Around 10:00am on October 15, Ms. Zhu Chunlan, a practitioner from Fenghuang Town was harvesting crops in the field. Guo Lisheng and Gao Zhilu came in two vehicles and abducted her. When she was taken away, she was not allowed to change her clothes. Currently, she is being detained at the Wuhan Female Detention Center.

Around 10:00am on October 15, the "610 Office" from Sandian Town and the local police rushed into Sandian Primary School and illegally arrested Ding Yuliang, a teacher who had just finished the second period of classes. He (She) is being detained at the Xinzhou Detention Center.

Cai Meilan, about 39 years old, is from Jiangjialin Village of Wuxue City. On September 14, 2003, she put up truth-clarifying materials at the Hubei Guangji Medicine Plant and was reported by two Security Clerks. Cai Meilan and two other practitioners were unlawfully arrested. Cai Meilan went on a hunger and water strike on the day she was arrested to protest against the illegal detention. In the Cuijiaju Detention Center in Wuxue City, the police guards force-fed her every two days. Fifteen days have passed, and her life is in great danger.

Since early this year, Dalian Forced Labor Institute has been constantly persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners by detaining them separately for forcible brainwashing.
