the Luotai Resort Brainwashing Center On the evening of October 6, 2003, Dafa practitioners went to Luotai
Brainwashing Center in Fushun City, Liaoning Province and broadcasted Dafa music
and truth clarification recordings. According to information provided by fellow
practitioners, Luotai Brainwashing Center is located in a remote, well-hidden
place. When the practitioners set out, the bright moon lit the road for them.
The practitioners put up a machine with a timer and then left. At the same time,
lightning and thunder covered the sky unceasingly, but the rain was light. To
quote Master: "The Heavens shrouded in darkness,
the Earth enveloped in gloom. The thunder of the Gods explodes,
dispersing the dark, dense haze. And sweeps across the rotten demons
who sought to ruin the Fa. Do not say that our mercy is

2. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Zhao Zhigang is
Illegally Detained for Long Period of Time Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhao Zhigang of Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province was
arrested by the police in May 2002. He has been detained for an additional eight
months by the detention center, and as a result, he has become extremely weak.
He was sent to jail, but was rejected because he did not pass the health check.
So far, the Gongzhuling Detention Center still refuses to release him. 3. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Husband and Wife Mr. Zhang Donglin and
Ms. Lu Keying Sentenced to 3 Years of Forced Labor Dafa practitioners Mr. Zhang Donglin and Ms. Lu Keying were illegally
arrested at the end of September 2003 when they were passing out Dafa
truth-clarification flyers. The Wei Town Public and Security Bureau sub-branch
of Weifang City sentenced this couple to three years of forced labor, without
going through any legal procedure. On October 10, Lu Keying was sent to the Wang
Village Forced Labor Camp, and Zhang Donglin was sent to Changle Forced Labor
Camp. Their 4-year-old child was left home alone. 4. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Dafa Practitioner Peng Zhenxiu is Illegally
Arrested In the afternoon of October 17, 2003, police took Dafa practitioner Ms. Peng
Zhenxiu of Shiqiaokou District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province away from home by
force. Peng's daughter tried to protect her mother, asking the police, "Why do
you wantonly arrest good people? Why don't community leaders step out and say a
few just words for my mom? Don't you know my mother's conduct?" The police were
unable to advance any further arguments to justify themselves, and threatened:
"If you intervene again, you will be arrested as well!" It was the fourth time that Peng Zhenxiu has been illegally arrested. She has
always done well, no matter whether she was in a detention center or a
brainwashing center. 5. [Chongqing City] Dafa Practitioners Luo Lihua and Tan Changrong Sent to a
Brainwashing Center Dafa practitioner Ms. Luo Lihua who lives in Tongnan County, Chongqing City,
Sichuan Province, was taken away by the police in the middle of October 2003,
under the instruction of the "610 Office." [an agency specifically created to
persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in
the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.] Ms. Tan Changrong was taken to a brainwashing center from her shop on October
20. She did not even have time to close the shop. 6. [Beijing] Dafa Practitioner Li Weiling is Sentenced to One Year of Forced
Labor Beijing Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Weiling was illegally arrested when she
visited home on the October 1, National Day. She was sentenced to one year of
"re-education through forced labor," and is now detained in a detention center
in Xiangfan city. She has been seized by the local police several times in the
past. This time, the police waited for the chance to arrest her by monitoring
her hometown telephone in Hubei Province. Further investigation is required to
obtain more detailed information. 7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioners in Changchun City
Please be Cautious The Public Security Bureau forced the neighbor who lived next to Xu Haoran
(who is now used by police to damage Fa) to move out. The house is now occupied
by the police. All correspondence and contacts made by Changchun City Dafa practitioner Zeng
Xianwen have been monitored by the police. 8. [Liangshan County, Shandong Province] A Truth-clarification Materials
Production Site Destroyed by the "610 Office" On the night of September 27, 2003, a group of personnel from the "610
Office" broke into a truth-clarifying material production site. They seized a
multipurpose printer, about 7,000 Yuan [500 Yuan is the average monthly
income for an urban worker in China.] in cash, some stickers and signs, plus
some living necessities, all summing up to over 40,000 Yuan. The practitioner
was not home at that time. On February 13, 2003, a team of "610 Office" personnel came with a few cars,
and stopped at Dafa practitioner Ms. Xiumei's home. First, they used the excuse
of searching for firecrackers, later they said that they were looking for
explosives, still later they said they were searching for antiques, and finally
they said they were looking for a murderer. They confiscated many things,
including a VCD copying machine. Xiumei suffered a great deal of torture and
then was sent to a forced labor camp. Even her husband (a non-practitioner) was
also arrested at that time, and released later on. 9. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Workplace Leader Forces Dafa Practitioner
Song Guirong to Retire Dafa practitioner Ms. Song Guirong was a pastry chef of the Changbai Group
Hotel. Manager Zhang twice illegally searched Song Guirong's residence during
the period of "Two National Conferences" in 2003. He took away her copy of
Zhuan Falun and forced her to leave. Song Guirong has worked for Changbai
Hotel for over seven years and is a top-notch pastry chef. This happened only
because she practices Falun Gong, believes in "Truthfulness, Compassion,
Forbearance," and refused to compromise with the evil and write "Guarantee
Statement." [A statement to declare that he or she is remorseful for
practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go
to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun
Dafa practitioners.] She was forced into retirement. 10. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Zhang Yufan Resists
the Persecution with Righteous Thoughts In November 2001, when Changchun City Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Yufan was
handling out Dafa truth-clarifying materials, she was illegally arrested by the
police. She refused to cooperate with the perpetrators: she did not tell her
home address, her name or the source of the materials, nor she did not betray
fellow practitioners. A young police officer asked her to defame Teacher and
Dafa, and when she refused him she was slapped on the face twice. She maintained
strong righteous thoughts, and sat to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate
the evil. The police shouted that she would be sentenced to ten years
re-education through labor if she still did not answer. She was not moved at
all, saying, "Go ahead. Regardless, I won't betray Teacher, I won't betray Dafa.
I am already over 70 years old. I had many illnesses before practicing Falun
Gong, such as heart disease, tracheitis and rheumatism. It was Teacher Li who
gave me a healthy body, and I would rather die than betray Teacher." Ms. Zhang firmly believes in Teacher and Dafa. With her powerful righteous
thoughts and righteous actions, she walked out the den of evil with dignity and
returned to her Fa-rectification mission of clarifying the truth and saving the
sentient beings. 11. [Hebei Province] Expose the Police's Plot of Intending to Arrest Dafa
Practitioners in Hebei Province Recently, Hebei Province Public and Security Bureau ordered the police to use
the method of "one to one" [one policeman is responsible for one practitioner]
to monitor Dafa practitioners, as well as many other abject means such as
following practitioners and turning off the power of practitioner's house,
arresting Dafa practitioners that were forced to leave home, and sending them to
brainwashing centers. Let's all send forth the most powerful righteous thoughts,
and destroy the arrangements of the old forces. 12. [Hebei Province] An Unforgettable Experience Sharing Conference Not long ago, Hebei Province Dafa practitioners broke through layer upon
layer of resistance, removed all sorts of disturbances, and successfully
organized an experience sharing conference. We talked about many topics, ranging from respecting Teacher and Dafa, to the
deeper meanings of Dafa's principles; from sending forth righteous thoughts with
a calm heart, to globally suing Jiang; from looking inwards, to the importance
of studying the Fa; from face to face clarifying the truth, to the urgent sense
of saving the sentient beings; from pure thought, to "The Buddha-light
illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities." Other topics ranged
from natural and man-made disasters, to the necessity of cosmic changes; from
personal experience of righteous thoughts and righteous actions, to writings
about deeply touching cultivation experiences on "Minghui Weekly;" from how to
make truth-clarifying materials that are willing to be accepted by everyday
people, to how to save sentient beings with our hearts, with no formality; from
"there is sacrifice in forbearance" to "selflessness and altruism;" from
improving as a whole body, to walking every step well on the path of Fa-rectification... The conference began at 1:00pm and finished after 4:00pm. We were all
immersed into the peaceful and compassionate atmosphere and did not want to
leave. Many practitioners overcame the pressure, got rid of interference and
came out to share experiences. We looked for our shortcomings and improved
together. This kind of chance is really precious. 13. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Zhuang Yan is Sent to
a Brainwashing Center Ms. Zhuang Yan, a Dafa Practitioner of Changchun City, Jilin Province was
illegally taken into the brainwashing center on October 13. She is now
conducting a hunger strike and has suffered from brutal force-feeding. 12. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] The Perpetrators' Telephone Numbers Zhu Zhishan, former Political Security Section chief of Luyuan District,

September Central Political Committee member Huang Ju is one of the key
people in Jiang's regime that persecutes Dafa and Dafa practitioners. In

old industrial base. He called in some Party and political leaders, such as Sun
Shuguang from Daqing Oil Field Company etc., to inquire about the situation of
Falun Gong. As a result, the local authorities once again ran rampant on the
