Germany: Practitioners in Munich Call for the Urgent Rescue of Practitioners Detained in Jilin Province (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) On October 30th, Dafa practitioners in Munich went to the
Chinese Embassy to call for people to pay attention to efforts to stop the Jiang
regime's persecution of Falun Gong. Practitioners specifically called for
support for several Falun Gong practitioners who are on a hunger strike in Jilin
prison and for the release of Liu Chengjun, who participated in the
interception of Changjun Cable Television signals and has been tortured to the
extent that he is near death.
According to reports over the past few days, the majority of the 100 plus
Dafa practitioners who have been detained in Jilin prison are on hunger strike.
They are protesting against the brutal persecution against them and all other
Dafa practitioners. Among them, Liu Chengjun and Zheng Wei from Changchun are
critically ill. According to reports that have been confirmed by the World
Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG), Liu
Chengjun has been brutally persecuted in one of Jilin's prisons and is
currently unconscious in hospital. After people worldwide learned about the
hunger strike, Liu Chengjun was secretly transferred to Jilin central
provincial hospital by the prisons administration [the hospital is also known as
the public security hospital or the labor re-education hospital].
The Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong is built entirely on lies. Falun
Gong practitioners in China have no normal channel or opportunity to express
their opinion or expose the human rights violations. The degree of brutality and
the extent of this persecution have been covered by lies with official
propaganda and overlooked by those who do not know the truth. A vast number
people in mainland China have been deeply affected by the propaganda. Many of
those who do not know the truth believe the lies spread by the media and have a
deep misunderstanding and even hatred towards Falun Gong.
In order to let more people come to understand Falun Gong, practitioners
including Liu Chengjun, intercepted television signals to clarify the facts to
people. This was an act of justice, great compassion, and courage. Yet, now they
are being brutally persecuted. Because of this, Dafa practitioners in Munich
demand that the Chinese government immediately stop the persecution of Falun
Gong and release Liu Chengjun, as well as all Falun Gong practitioners who have
been detained.
This persecution of Truth, Compassion, and Forbearance is shameful disaster
for humanity. Jiang Zemin and his accomplices do not even hesitate to threaten
foreign governments and business that do not understand the facts in order to
mislead them into joining their violation of human rights and their persecution
of belief and conscience. The incident in Iceland and the recent Mary Kay
incident are such examples.
Under pressure from the 610 Office", the Shenzhen office of the Mary Kay
corporation requested all employees to sign an affidavit of conduct, clearly
stating that they will not practice or support Falun Gong. If they do, they will
lose their jobs. According to inside information from China, some employees and
Mary Kay salespersons have lost their jobs because they refused to sign such an
affidavit. Chinese authorities detained another employee during a meeting
because of words in favor of Falun Gong. Currently this employee's whereabouts
are unknown. According to information received, other foreign companies with
businesses in China have encountered similar pressure from the Jiang regime and
have been forced to choose between dealing with Falun Gong or maintaining normal
operation of their company.
Therefore, Dafa practitioners also called on the international community to
pay attention to this brutal persecution of Falun Gong. It has already been
largely overlooked; please lend us a helping hand to stop this persecution.
