By A Dafa Practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) Those who cooperate with the perpetrators to slander Falun Dafa, after being transformed, are actually walking the path arranged by the old forces for them. Why is this so? Apparently the old forces are using these people's betrayal to test the steadfastness of Falun Dafa practitioners in the Fa [law and principles]. Our Teacher said,

"Probably nothing is coincidental, because for you, a cultivator, in the process of your cultivation you have fundamental tests all the way to the very end." ("Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. Fa Conference")

Steadfast means that the practitioner has to melt everything of him or herself into the Fa. Only the lives created by the greatest Fa can reach a state as solid and unshakable as diamond, which makes the old forces tremble with fear. During the persecution, any wavering becomes an "omission" which can be used by the evil. This shows that he or she still hasn't rectified him or herself in the Fa.

Everything in human society comes about due to the thoughts of Falun Dafa practitioners. What is the relationship between the failure to be as solid and unshakable as diamond by those who have been "transformed" [the people who have turned against Dafa due to brainwashing and torture by Jiang Zemin's regime.] and the one body of Dafa practitioners, and to each individual? Do the "omissions" that have appeared in the steadfastness toward Dafa commonly exist amongst a fairly large number of our practitioners? We might all say, "I am extremely steadfast in Dafa." However, deep in our hearts are we really that steadfast? In facing the evil we might have a slight fear in our heart, in validating the Fa we might have a little bit of doubt. When doing Dafa work are we based on the Fa in order to save sentient beings, or based on the human standpoint of shirking responsibility and making excuses?

I think that every practitioner should check him or herself to see if they are truly steadfast in the Fa, and whether or not you believe one hundred percent in Teacher and Dafa. At the time when Dafa requires us to validate the Fa do we really step forward to do it? In the vicious environment have we really made efforts to save sentient beings? Looking back, it was very clear that all the persecution of Falun Dafa and Dafa practitioners in the last few years was intended to shake the steadfast righteous thoughts of Dafa practitioners in the Fa.

A fellow practitioner sent me the article "Golden Buddha" with Teacher's comment. The butcher in the article had not practiced for a single day, however, he presented his heart to show his respect for the Buddha and it showed he had not the slightest bit of selfishness. The butcher had no reservations or doubts about his respect for the Buddha. It was only a formality when his heart was thrown into the pot filled with boiling oil. Actually when he gave his heart he had already reached the realm. This reminded me of the cultivation story of Buddha Milarepa. He devoted his body, mouth and mind to his Master to express his selflessness and his steadfastness toward his Master. Looking at myself, I checked to see if I really have reached the state of selflessness. Though I have been doing Dafa work all the time I still feel that I am like those two cultivators who took the butcher's heart to see the Buddha. The environment we are in today is like a giant pot filled with boiling oil. If we want to save sentient beings we must come to this environment.

Do we step forward to save sentient beings and validate the Fa from our righteous thoughts or just follow other people? In the process of saving sentient beings do we stand in the Fa all the time without any condition, devote ourselves wholeheartedly to the Fa and validate the Fa for the sake of sentient beings or are we still doing things with our own concepts, habits and selfishness? Teacher has given all he has to save sentient beings. As Dafa practitioners who are helping the Teacher to rectify the Fa have we reached the realm that we can give up everything for Fa rectification? The radiance that shines from the perfect righteous belief is powerful enough to eliminate the vicious and rotten ghosts that sabotage Dafa and persecute Dafa practitioners, and paves a way of hope for saving sentient beings. When we can truly rectify the Fa and save sentient beings selflessly, isn't this like taking out our hearts as an offering?
