Ms. Han Yuping from Zhangye, Gansu Province, Is Sentenced to Prison for Distributing Truth Clarifying Materials

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Han Yuping is from Zhangye County, Gansu Province. She began her Dafa cultivation in May 2001. Just one month after she started to practice Dafa, she went out to distribute truth clarifying materials and was illegally arrested. Police tried intimidation, persuasion, and high pressure tactics in an attempt to force her to reveal the source of the material. They also threatened to tear apart her house and confiscate her household belongings. Police forced her husband to threaten to divorce her. She still refused to cooperate with them while maintaining her righteous thoughts. Police singled her out for interrogation, wanting to know where she stood on the matter. She arranged clay bricks on the ground to form the words, "Falun Dafa is Good" and "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance is Good." Many bystanders were attracted by this display. After being detained in the Xiguoyuan Detention Center for six months, she was sentenced to three years in prison. She is now imprisoned in the Lanzhou City Second Detention Center.

Ms. Liang Ailing, a Dafa practitioner from Lanzhou City, was kidnapped from her home in April 2003. Ms. Liang is handicapped, missing her right hand. After being detained in Xiguoyuan Detention Center for several months, she was transferred to the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center to be persecuted further in an attempt to force her to renounce her belief in Falun Dafa.
