Beijing Policeman Starts Practicing Falun Gong After SARS Outbreak

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a police officer in Beijing. I was very lucky to read Zhuan Falun in 1998. Several diseases I had in the past quickly disappeared within ten days after my first reading of the Dafa book. Thus, Dafa impressed me so deeply that I would never forget it. As Dafa disciples had said, Zhuan Falun is truly a book exceeding ordinary theories. It teaches people to become better human beings according to the universe's highest principles, "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance." It is a book from Heaven to help people to practice cultivation to a higher level.

On July 20^th, 1999, Falun Dafa was suddenly falsely charged by dictator Jiang, and Dafa disciples were brutally persecuted. I could not understand this after thinking it over and over again. Why does a person in power want to arrest thousands of Dafa practitioners who believe in "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance" and send them into jails? Why were so many practitioners beaten to death, simply because they resisted giving up their belief? What do they want to "convert" a good person to? Aren't they publicly trampling on people's belief, human rights, truth and justice? Because I knew these good people are risking their lives to tell others about the facts, I always gave them an opportunity to walk away safely when I was sent to arrest Dafa disciples and seeing them distributing materials or hanging up a banner. For Dafa books that were confiscated, I would take them for safekeeping and returned them to Dafa disciples when I had an opportunity.

During the peak of the SARS outbreak, I saw with my own eyes that some of my co-workers got this disease and died very quickly. It was so sad to witness that in several cases, several family members died, as well. My family and I were lucky and survived. I knew that it was a blessing because I treated Dafa disciples kindly and hence avoided the disaster. After realizing this, I could not wait to look for Dafa disciples and started to study Master Li's new articles. I felt pained and regretful for not being able to practice Dafa earlier. Now I sincerely want to be a Dafa practitioner.

Today I wanted to write down my experience to serve as the beginning for my practice and validation of Dafa.
