Falun Dafa Practitioner Chen Changfa Tortured to Death by Police in Hunan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Chen Changfa, 51 years old, was working as an engineer at the Construction Office of the Guizhou Province Railroad Bureau No.5. He was forced to leave his home in 2001 and became destitute in order to avoid being illegally arrested at home. He was later tortured to death by police in Hunan Province.

Mr. Chen, who has a bachelor's degree, lived in Feijiba, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province in his employer's residential dorm. In January of 2000, after the start of the persecution, he went to Beijing to validate the Fa and was detained 15 days. Later, he was again detained for 15 days in the Nanming District Police Station, Guiyang City, for practicing the Falun Gong exercises in Hebin Park, Guiyang City. Since then, his salary had been withheld and he was dismissed from his job. After Chen requested his job back, he was given employment as a security guard at the gate.

In 2001, Chen Changfa was accused of wrongdoing, when he was clarifying the truth to people. In August 2001, he was forced to become destitute and homeless in order to avoid being illegally arrested at home. Nevertheless, he continued validating Dafa. Soon thereafter, he was arrested by police in Hunan, and tortured to death.

In May, 2002, police from Hunan Province acting on information contained in his personal I.D. card, took a photo of his dead, tortured body to his local police station and informed them that he had died.
