Atrocities at the Dazhou City Brainwashing Center in Sichuan Province: Humiliation and Force-feeding of Human Excrement Are Torture Tactics

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, many Dafa practitioners in Dazhou City, Sichuan Province have been arrested and sent to the brainwashing center. In order to force practitioners to give up their belief in Dafa, the staff members there first attempt to be falsely nice to them. If practitioners still refuse to give up cultivation, they then force practitioners' work units to stop their salaries, and coerce the practitioners' family members to exert pressure on practitioners. Now they have cut off all contact with the outside and are not allowing family visits or phone calls. Every day they force practitioners to read materials slandering Dafa and Teacher. According to a practitioner who escaped the brainwashing center, the staff members there force fed human excrement to determined practitioners. They also strip practitioners naked and force them to run laps in the courtyard. The steps they take to persecute practitioners are listed below:

Step 1: force practitioners to write a guarantee promising to give up practicing Dafa;

Step 2: force practitioners to write a "break away from Dafa statement";

Step 3: force practitioners to turn in all the Dafa books they have;

Step 4: force practitioners to report information on their fellow practitioners;

Step 5: force practitioners to complete TV and newspaper interviews, and show up in TV shows to slander Teacher and Dafa.

The staff members claim that they will detain practitioners until they die if any of the above mentioned steps are not completed. They also threaten to fabricate crimes and send practitioners to prisons or labor camps. The practitioners held at the brainwashing center are in a dangerous situation. The detailed information is yet to be investigated.
