With Saddam's Arrest in a Foxhole, Jiang Zemin's Doom Is Drawing Near

(Clearwisdom.net) Over the past week or so, the focus of the news around the world has been the capture of Saddam Hussein, former dictator of Iraq. When the US soldiers arrested him, he was hiding like a rat in a foxhole. According to a report edited by the Liberty Times, "A member of the Iraqi Executive Committee revealed that there were rats in the narrow foxhole. A reporter from Fox Television said that the foxhole was narrow, filthy, and extremely stinky even with the fans. There were mushrooms growing inside and the only lighting was fluorescent lamps." The former dictator, who had once claimed that he would fight to the bloody end, gave up without a fight. He had a pistol beside him but he did not resist at all.

Upon the news of Saddam's capture, Iraqis celebrated it like a festival. Top leaders from many countries in the world also congratulated the US on the victory. However, China's state-controlled propaganda mouthpiece, CCTV, showed solemn expressions on Iraqi faces and spoke in a pitying tone while reporting Saddam's arrest, reflecting the feelings of Jiang Zemin, their master. Saddam is facing a trial and might be sentenced to death. Jiang Zemin is presently being sued in many countries all over the world. Is he worried that he may end up the same as Saddam?

On June 10, 1999, under Jiang Zemin's personal will and power, the "610 Office", a nationwide terror organization with the power of the state Constitution and laws behind it, was established in China. After July 20, 1999, Jiang Zemin ordered the "610 Office" to persecute, systematically and brutally, millions of Falun Gong practitioners who remain steadfast in their belief.

Jiang Zemin on the one hand promises the world that China will reduce the brutal torture. He tries to prove this by imitating what Hitler did -- providing chances for some reporters from the mainstream media outside China to visit the so-called "civilized environment" in specially prepared forced labor camps. On the other hand, more and more cases of brutal torture occur in China, especially to Falun Gong practitioners. All possible torture means have been employed- over 40 in variety- to persecute Falun Gong practitioners including women and seniors, which makes one's blood boil.

In the past fours years, beginning on July 20, 1999, at least 834 Falun Gong practitioners have been verified as having died as the result of torture in over 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities according to news from nongovernmental channels. During the process of Jiang Zemin's creating and promoting national terrorism, many Falun Gong practitioners have been and are being beaten to death or disabled. Many practitioners have become also lost their homes and become destitute as well as many families being broken up as a result of this persecution. Millions of Falun Gong practitioners' family members, relatives, friends and colleagues who do not practice have been persecuted or brainwashed to a certain extent.

Recently, former dictators and their cronies in several countries are being brought to justice one after another. Jiang Zemin, who persecutes, tortures, and kills Falun Gong practitioners, will be punished by the law inevitably.
