Persecution of Dafa Practitioners in Fuxin, Liaoning Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Feng Yuzhu, female, 60 years old, lives the small district of Shuangyue in Haidan district. After she started the Falun Gong practice in 1997, many of her illnesses totally disappeared, including gastric ulcer, heart disease, soreness and pain on her back and legs, and gastro-duodenal ulcer. Before the practice, she and her mother-in-law could not get along. After starting the practice, she took very good care of her mother-in-law who is paralyzed in bed. She cleaned her mother-in-law after she urinated and defecated without any complaint or anger.

In December 2000, Mrs. Feng went to Beijing to appeal. She was arrested by the police, sent back to Fuxin, and detained at Xishang Police Station. The lawless police Wang Zhizhong demanded and extorted over a thousand and two hundred yuan¹ [500 yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China] from her and another practitioner in the name of repatriation expense. Mrs. Fend was later illegally given forced labor education for a year.

On April 24, 2002, Wang Zhizhong leading Xu Renying and several other wicked policemen from Xishang Police Station broke into Mrs. Feng's home, confiscated her family's property, and forcefully abducted her, taking her to a detention center. At the detention center, Mrs. Feng went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal imprisonment. The lawless police Wang Qishan prompted some criminals to barbarically force feed her. She was let go after she was detained for a month and had five thousand Yuan extorted from her.

On January 12, 2003, Mrs. Feng was arrested while working at the Liujiaozi construction site, and illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor. She is currently being illegally detained at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.

Practitioner Mrs. Li Yuzheng, in her fifties, lived in the small district of Tinan. In the beginning of the year 2003, she was arrested at Liujiaozi construction site. Her husband passed away and her 70-year-old mother-in-law is ill. She also has two children in school. Mrs. Li was illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor. She is currently being illegally detained at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.

Ms. Hao Jialin, a practitioner in her thirties, lives in the Haidian district. She has been illegally detained and had money extorted from her on several occassions. In the beginning of 2003, Ms. Hao was arrested at the Liujiaozi construction site, and was illegally sentenced to forced labor and then sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp before the Spring Festival of 2003. Around the same time, 10 more practitioners were also sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Fuxin.

Practitioner Ms. Jia Guilan, 50 years old, was held at a detention center because she spread the facts of Falun Gong. At the detention center, both her hands and feet were tied up together for a week since she did not put on the detention center's uniform, which resulted in her being unable to take care of herself. Ms. Jia was later sentenced to a set term of imprisonment, and currently she is detained at Dabei prison in Shenyang Province.
