Recording the Suffering of Huangzhou City Falun Dafa Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners and their families living in Huangzhou City, Hubei Province have suffered greatly since Jiang Zemin ordered the persecution of Falun Dafa in July of 1999. The following are just a few of these cases.

Mr. Sun Biao is 40 years old. Nobody has heard any news of his whereabouts since he went to Beijing to appeal in October, 1999.

Fu Chunmei, Long Guiquan, Luo Tao and Lu Jinshan were illegally sentenced to one and a half years in a forced labor camp by the Huangzhou police. (They have since been released.)

Xie Hua, Xiong Shouzhen, Liu Lianhua, Chen Santiao, Hu Jun, Luo Hao and Liu Xuelan were illegally sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp by the Huangzhou police. (They have since been released.)

Ms. Xu Lamei, fifty years old, was abducted and sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp by the Ezhou City police for handing out truth-clarification materials to Ezhou City practitioners. She had previously been sentenced to one year in a labor camp, and on two occasions her term was extended by six months because she firmly practices Falun Dafa.

Ms. Liu Juhua is also fifty years old. She spent one and a half years in a forced labor camp beginning in August 2000. Because she firmly practices Falun Dafa, Ms. Liu suffered various tortures in the Shayang Forced Labor Camp. On completing her term she was released unconditionally. Six months later she was arrested again by the Huangzhou police and sentenced to one and a half years in Shayang Forced Labor Camp.

Ms. Liu Zhihong, 39 years old, is Ms. Liu Juhua's sister. Zhihong was sentenced to a labor camp together with her sister on two occasions. The first time she was sentenced for one year, and the second time, for two years. Her 80-year-old mother and 15-year-old son were left alone in the house and had no one but each other to help them with day to day living.

Ms. Lin Zejing, 30 years old, was sentenced to one year by the Huangzhou police. Because she is steadfast in practicing Falun Dafa, her term in Shayang Forced Labor Camp was extended by four months.

Ms. Fu Jianhua is 40 years old. She was sentenced to three years for traveling to Wuhan (capital city of Hubei Province) to pick up Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials.

Mr. Zhang Hui is 30 years old. He was arrested together with Ms. Fu Jianhua, and he was sentenced to two years of detention.

Ms. Tang Meilian, 50 years old, was sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp because she went to Beijing's Tiananmen Square to unfurl a banner that read, "FALUN DAFA IS GOOD."

Ms. Yu Fuxiang is 50 years old. She was arrested numerous times and sentenced to one year in a labor camp. While in the detention center she was beaten so badly that her face became deformed, her eyes badly bruised and her body was scarred all over. She was released very recently.

Mr. Ouyang Ming, 41 years old, died as a result of the persecution by the Huangzhou police.

Mr. Zhang Qingming, 20 years old, was sentenced to ten years for his part related to a truth-clarification materials production site. The site was also destroyed during the illegal arrest.

Many Falun Dafa practitioners from Huangzhou have been forced into destitution and homelessness in order to avoid being arrested from their homes. Zheng Zhong and He Zhuping who are nearly 70, Ms. Zhang Yu'e (Zhang Qingming's sister), Long Xiang, Wang Jiansheng (his "wanted" photo was pasted on the public bus) and Tong Jinxian have all been forced into this situation. Ms. Lu Fang was forced to leave home to avoid being taken to the Hubei Province brainwashing class. She had to leave her 3-year-old son at home.

Additionally, there are numerous Falun Dafa practitioners in Huangzhou who were arrested repeatedly and had thousands of yuan extorted from them [500 yuan is equal to the average monthly salary of an urban worker in China]. Many innocent families have suffered tremendous anguish due to the persecution.
