"Falun Dafa Is Great!" Echoes to the Heavens

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 18, 2001, I went to Tiananmen Square and unfolded a banner to validate Dafa. I was then illegally arrested and sent to the Beijing Tiananmen Square Police Station. When I arrived, eight other Dafa practitioners were already being detained there. They had all been illegally arrested for validating Dafa on Tiananmen Square. During our detention some practitioners were beaten by police officers, some were handcuffed to chairs, and some were interrogated all night long. Every practitioner talked about the goodness of Dafa and clarified the truth about the persecution to the police with a compassionate heart. No one gave his name or address. At the same time, we started a hunger strike to protest our illegal detention and demanded to be released immediately without condition.

One evening, we were sent to Beijing City Shijingshan Detention Center. A police car, with lights flashing and siren blaring went in front of the van carrying the practitioners. Our vehicle was followed by another police car.

On the way there, I found the vehicle to be stifling so I opened a window. A male practitioner beside me swiftly moved to the window and shouted towards people in the street, "Falun Dafa is Great!" I then realized what a good thing he was doing. This was an excellent opportunity to validate Dafa! So I also called out, "Falun Dafa is Great!"

The practitioners sitting on the other side of the van also opened their window and joined us. "Falun Dafa is Great! Falun Dafa is righteous! Restore the reputation of Master Li! Restore the reputation of Falun Dafa!"

Our voices were loud and clear, and could even be heard above the siren. In Beijing, people can be seen on sidewalks and in parks during the evening. Many people saw and heard us. The policemen sitting in front of our van started shouting invectives at us and tried to stop us from calling out the windows. Despite their verbal threats, they couldn't do much because iron bars separated the front and back seats.

It took about an hour to drive from Tiananmen Square Police Station to Shijingshan Detention Center. We shouted out the windows during the whole trip. Although we had been on a hunger strike for days, none of us felt weak. With no fear and no distracting thoughts, all of us were immersed in the stateliness and heavenliness of validating Dafa.
