Toronto: Practitioners Protest in Front of the Chinese Consulate to Demand Punishment for the Murderers in Changchun (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Liu Chengjun, who participated in broadcasting the truth about Falun Dafa by tapping into cable TV networks in Changchun City, passed away as a result of Jiang regime's persecution. After hearing the sad news, Toronto Falun Gong practitioners went to appeal in front of the Chinese Consulate General in Toronto. They held banners reading, "Bring Jiang Zemin to justice," "Punish evil policemen and the murderers in Changchun," and "Expose lies, stop killing and hold a public trial on Jiang Zemin."

Quiet mourning in the rain

Heaven is also shedding tears. Falun Gong practitioners stood in the rain or sat on the roadsides in front of the Chinese Consulate. Among them were also the elderly and children. The media came to take photos and cover the activity. Heaven and earth were recording Jiang's crime. Falun Gong practitioners and all kind-hearted people have the same wish: Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong must be immediately stopped. We can't look on the Chinese people being dragged to the disastrous abyss by Jiang.

On March 5, 2002, eight channels on the Changchun cable TV network aired "Falun Dafa Around the World," "Self-immolation or Staged Event," and other truth clarification programs. The broadcast lasted 40-50 minutes without interruption. The broadcast allowed many people to find out the truth about Falun Gong being slandered and persecuted, sending shockwaves throughout Mainland China, as well as outside China. Liu Cheng was a major part of this courageous act. Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin, who single-handedly started the bloody persecution against Falun Gong, became furious and extremely scared. He gave the order to "kill [those responsible] without pardon."

As the head of evil, Jiang is inevitably scared by the broadcasting of the truth. People who learn the truth understand that if Falun Gong's truth clarifying programs could be aired freely for several days in Mainland China, evil persecution would no longer be able to last, because the bloody persecution of Falun Gong is completely established on deceptive lies that have been the most debased and evil in human history.

Jiang mobilized huge national apparatus including hundreds of thousands of police and special agents to carry out a brutal persecution of people who follow peacefully the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance." The persecution is closely related to all propagating media including TV station, radio station, newspapers and magazines. In China, Falun Gong practitioners have no way to freely reveal the truth about Falun Gong and expose the persecution, Liu Chengjun and other practitioners' successful act of broadcasting truth-clarifying programs through tapping into TV networks became a courageous feat that moved people in the world. It is a tremendous encouragement to those practitioners who are enduring enormous pressure and a great help to those people whose minds were poisoned by Jiang's deceptive lies.

We express our most lofty respect to Liu Chengjun and all courageous and steadfast Falun Gong practitioners in Mainland China who step forward to clarify the truth to the Chinese people.
