Influenced by a Falun Gong Practitioner, A Young Man Returns the 300,000 Yuan He Found to its Owner

(Clearwisdom.net) One month ago, a young man from Hunan Province went to Shenzhen City to do business. He found a big bag with 300,000 Yuan in cash on the ground (500 Yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China) and picked it up.

After a lot of effort he finally found the owner of the lost money and returned it to him. The owner wanted to give him 10,000 Yuan to express his gratitude, but the young man refused. The owner thought the young man might feel the money was not enough, so he offered him 10,000 more. The young man still refused. The owner was very impressed, as nowadays it is difficult to come across a young man of such noble character. He offered to put up a notice in the newspaper or on TV to show his appreciation.

"Don't praise me," replied the young man, "If you want to show your appreciation, you should praise Falun Gong. I haven't started cultivation yet, but one of my relatives is a practitioner and she told me to follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in my life. Falun Gong practitioners are truly good people. Had I not been influenced by her, I would not have returned the money to you."
