More Facts About the Death of Practitioner Li Qingzhou in Shannxi Province By a Practitioner in China
(Clearwisdom.Net) Mr. Li Qingzhou, 55 years old, was a practitioner
from Hua County in Shannxi Province. He went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong
in March 2000. He was arrested and forcibly returned to Shannxi Province, where
he was sentenced to a one-year term in a forced labor camp. After he was released from the labor camp, he suffered a lot of brutal
persecution by the local police. In July 2002, he was violently removed from his
child's home and taken to Tieyiju Detention Center. He was then sentenced to a
two-year term in a forced labor camp. When he was sent to the labor camp, he was
found to have high blood pressure during a health checkup. As a result, the
labor camp refused to accept him. He asked to be released on bail so that he could obtain medical treatment,
but his application for release was declined by detention center authorities. Around midnight November 29, 2002, he suddenly died in the detention center. November 11, 2003 Posting date: 12/4/2003 |
