On October 15, 2003 three Falun Dafa practitioners from the Baiquan and Suihua areas in Heilongjiang Province were abducted by police while presenting facts of the persecution in Linkou County in Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province. One practitioner is in his 70's, another in his 50's, and the third is a woman. Additional details are not yet available.

Mr. Wu Chunlong is 28 years old. To earn a living, he had rented a small barber's shop near the residential quarters of the Jiamusi Textile Factory. At noon of the fourth day after opening, for no reason officers from the Yingjun Police Station abducted him, and took him to the detention center without following any legal procedures. Wu's father went to the detention center demanding an explanation. Guo Weishan, head of the detention center, dodged the question by saying that informants had given his son's name to the police, and they could do nothing else but simply follow orders from higher up. Mr. Wu and his father were supporting one another to make ends meet. Now that the son has been abducted, his father has lost a source of income and can hardly summon the courage to live on.

Mr. Zheng Libin served a two-year term in the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp in Beijing. He was released on April 17, 2003 upon the completion of the illegal sentence. The head of the Xiangyang Police Station in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province took him to a local forced labor camp and lied to him, saying that they needed go through a legal procedure there. Without any legal papers, Xu Hengji, chief of the forced labor section in the Jiamusi City Forced Labor Bureau, placed Mr. Zheng in custody. Liu Hongguang was the person who ordered him to be locked in a small cell to be watched over by two criminal inmates. Mr. Zheng was handcuffed on a so-called death-bed* for over three months. Zheng went on hunger strikes and made demands to Wang Hongming, director of the internal inspection office in the facility, to sue the police. Wang completely ignored him, and jeered that he might do whatever if he managed to get out. Zheng's spine has become deformed after extended periods of being handcuffed to the death-bed. He was released on August 7. The police and a criminal inmate Qiu Hongbin took possession of and divided up his personal items.

*Death Bed: The four limbs of the practitioner are stretched out and tied to the four corners of an icy-cold metal bed.á The practitioner cannot move at all.á Neither is he allowed to get up to eat, drink, or use the bathroom.á This treatment usually lasts from several hours up to more than a dozen days.á This type of cruel torture causes severe damage to the practitioner both mentally and physically.

Recently, practitioners in Tianshui City, Gansu Province have been sending righteous thoughts to resist police brainwashing. Officers who have come to know the facts are no longer helping carry out Jiang's persecution. The brainwashing class has failed. Only three people have been misled and trapped in the brainwashing center no matter how many tricks the organizers have tried to use.

Police officers in China are worried about being exposed on the Clearwisdom.net website. No matter whether they work at the police departments, detention centers, forced labor camps, or brainwashing facilities, when Falun Dafa practitioners ask for their names, they only give out the last name. They either refuse to provide their given names or make up false ones. They know what they are doing are criminal acts and fear that their names will be published on Clearwisdom.net. It is an indication that Falun Dafa practitioners in China have made a difference in exposing and eliminating the evil by clarifying the truth. People who know Falun Dafa practitioners are all aware of the viciousness and brutality of the police.

On November 20, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Fuming of Yanqing County was abducted by the police from the Jiuxian Police Station in Yanqing County, Beijing while he was distributing materials that clarify the facts of the persecution. He was later sent to the Yanqing County Detention Center. Other than reports that Mr. Zhang had been on a hunger strike, no further information is available. Fellow practitioners who have learned about his abduction are sending forth righteous thoughts to keep him out of harm's way.

Members of the Henan Province "610 Office"* have arrived at Nanyang City. They colluded with the Nanyang City "610 Office" to design a form which has been sent out to various townships in Wancheng District. Falun Dafa practitioners are asked to fill out the form. Persecution is to be carried out once they have finished gathering the information about local practitioners.

* "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.

Ms. Wang Lan has been unlawfully sentenced to 12 years in prison after her personal computer and other items in her home were confiscated by the police. The organization responsible for the persecution is the Youhao Police Station, whose telephone number is 86-412-6333434.

Ms. Cai Hongbo has been illegally sentenced to six years in prison and sent to the Shenyang Women's Prison.

After her arrest, Ms. Cheng Jiying was sentenced to three years of forced labor.

On November 18, 2003 a female Falun Dafa practitioner was carrying Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials home when she was detained and held in custody by police in the Zhengzhou Railroad Station. She was locked in the security booth at the station, and as of midday, November 19, she was still there.

Prior to the October 1 National Day, the Kaifeng City "610 Office" in Henan Province started another round of persecution. Eight Falun Dafa practitioners have been sentenced to forced labor for no reason. Four of them were sent to the Shibalihe Forced Labor Camp. Starting October 1, a one-on-one brainwashing has been initiated on Falun Dafa practitioners at home. So far 102 Falun Dafa practitioners are in the program.

In 2001, Falun Dafa practitioner students in Jixi University, Heilongjiang Province were placed under surveillance by the campus security section.
