Italy: Promoting Falun Dafa at a Medical Seminar in Turin (Photo)
(Clearwisdom.net) On the 11th of November 2003, a
medical seminar was held in the Italian city of Turin and was sponsored by the
Turin city council, Piemonte District and the Italian Sanitation Department. Ms
Wang, a Chinese attendee from Sweden, a doctor of Chinese medicine and a Falun
Gong practitioner, was specially invited to the seminar. Ms. Wang gave a
two-hour lecture on traditional Chinese medicine and the exercises of Falun
Gong, introducing Falun Gong by talking about her own experiences. During the conference, Falun Gong practitioners explained the
basic principles of traditional Chinese medicine, while mentioning the
relationship between becoming fit and meditating. The audience were taught the
Falun Gong exercises and many people also brought their children to the seminar. The two hours passed quickly but the attendees did not leave.
One after another people asked for the phone number of the contact person at the
local practice site where they could learn the exercises in detail for free.
Since 2000, when Falun Dafa was first introduced to Turin, hundreds of people
have learned how to practise, and the numbers are still increasing. More and
more people have experienced the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa.
