After Practicing Falun Gong, a Young Woman Discards the Idea of Committing Suicide and Clarifies the Truth to Others in Her Village

(Clearwisdom.net) In a certain village in Shahe City, Hebei Province, lives a young woman named Xiao Mei who is in her 30s. Xiao Mei's husband died of cancer in the prime of his life. As a result she became depressed to the point of contemplating ending her life, because without her husband, she did not want to live.

Xiao Mei had a female friend who is a Falun Gong practitioner. Upon learning Xiao Mei's intention of committing suicide, on many occasions this practitioner helped comfort her by using the principles of Dafa. Gradually Xiao Mei calmed down and stopped talking about ending her life.

While he was still alive, Xiao Mei's husband prevented her from practicing Falun Gong. However after passing away, he once showed up in Xiao Mei's dream urging her to start practicing Falun Gong right away. In 2002, Xiao Mei started practicing. She soon understood the meaning of life and began disciplining herself according to the principles of Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance. She changed into a completely new person. After witnessing these changes, her family members all became very happy. They were also grateful that Dafa had saved Xiao Mei and her family. Since then, many of Xiao Mei's family members also took up the practice of Falun Gong. Her parents used to be very scared because of the propaganda, but now make use of every day to practice Falun Gong.

Xiao Mei has a grandmother who is close to 80 years old and is plagued by various illnesses. She used to be senile and was not able to move her right arm. This spring, Xiao Mei taught her grandma to recite the words Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance and to follow the principles. Her grandmother recited them over and over again during the day. She even skipped all her meals that day. Finally she was able to recite Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance fluently. On the third day a miracle happened, Xiao Mei's grandmother was able to raise her right arm. For the first time in the past four years, she was able to comb her hair and was also more clearheaded. After learning this news, many more people started practicing Falun Gong.

There's a villager whose nose often bled profusely. She had checked into a hospital twice. Her health was very poor and she needed support to walk. Xiao Mei also shared her own experience with her. The villager asked, "Can Falun Gong guarantee that my nose won't bleed again?" Xiao Mei replied, "It depends on whether you can let go of your pursuits and follow the principles to cultivate and improve yourself." She said she could and began cultivation in Falun Dafa. Ever since then her nose never bled again.

Thus, Xiao Mei spreads Dafa to people around her by clarifying the truth to everybody she comes across.
