By a Taiwan Shih Hsin University Falun Dafa practitioner
(Clearwisdom.net) From November 17 to 21, Shih Hsin University Falun Dafa
practitioners held a film show on campus to expose Jiang Zemin's crimes. This
event happened right after about 10,000 Taiwanese practitioners rallied in front
of the President's Office on November 15 to support a lawsuit filed by Taiwanese
practitioners against Jiang Zemin.
Our event was held at the busiest spot of Shih Hsin University. When students
saw the posters "Photo Illustrations of the Jiang Regime's Brutal Persecution
against Falun Gong Practitioners", many of them stopped and read them carefully.
On the first day of our show, one student watched our truth-clarifying video
program for a long time and then asked many questions. She asked what she could
do to help Mainland Falun Gong practitioners. We told her that we would have a
big poster the next day, and everyone who wants to help can sign his or her name
on it. By the third day of the show, the poster was already full of signatures
from students and professors. One of my classmates once told me that she saw that many people were looking
at the display early in the morning. She said she knew that the Jiang regime was
persecuting Falun Gong, but she didn't know that the regime would use such
brutal measures. She said that more and more people have gradually learned the
truth about Falun Gong through activities like this and we should continue our
efforts. Many practitioners outside the university contributed to this event, and we
worked together to prepare posters such as Bring Jiang to Justice, What is
Genocide, Jiang Zemin's Crimes, etc. We also prepared a poster to thank Shih
Hsin University's students and faculty for their help in rescuing Lin Hsiao-Kai.
The release of Hsiao-Kai is also a good example to demonstrate that people's
voices of justice do make a difference. Once everyone knows the truth, their
voices of justice will merge into one and restrain the evil. During the show, we strongly felt the perfect timing of Master's arrangement.
When we planned this event, we didn't know that a rally of about 10,000
practitioners would be held 2 days before our show. It turned out that many Shih
Hsin faculty and students came to the show on campus right after they learned
about the lawsuit from the media. This event thus fit perfectly into the
activities of suing Jiang in Taiwan. On the first night of this event, a student
reporter of a campus newspaper The Small World Weekly showed up. After
learning about Falun Gong, he told us that the president of Liaoning University
in Mainland China would come for a visit on November 21, which was the last day
of our show. Though we didn't have a chance to meet with the president and other
professors from the mainland in person on that day, we informed our fellow
practitioners in other universities on their itinerary and helped them to
arrange activities to clarify truth to the visitors from the Mainland. Throughout the 5-day event, we tried our best to work harmoniously with each
other. The staff in charge of room reservations on campus also provided us a lot
of help. The film show concluded successfully at 6pm on November 21.
