Specifics on How to Expose Local Persecutors - Our Group's Approach

The only thing we had previously done to rescue fellow practitioners was to send forth righteous thoughts as a group and to expose the persecutors online. Since June 2003, other than going online, we also printed the reports of the persecution against fellow practitioners, so other practitioners outside of jail could learn about the current situation more thoroughly. Additionally, we wrote letters and made phone calls to the persecutors, courts, the People's Prosecutor, the Appeals Office and others, and the outcome was very good. Our main goal was to help many new practitioners and practitioners who had not stepped forward to join in our efforts of validating Dafa and making diligent progress as a whole body. We want to improve together, expose the evil and save people, and keep up with Master's Fa-rectification.

Our lawsuits filed against local persecutors had significant implications in conjunction with lawsuits against Jiang filed overseas. Practitioners in my city wrote their own indictment, and the plaintiffs are practitioners who are currently being detained. Currently, we didn't use free practitioners as the plaintiffs to avoid retaliation against them. We did the same thing with flyers, to expose the local persecutors' crimes against Dafa practitioners, including illegal fines, extortion of money and property, and other illegal deeds.

We chose the most vicious head persecutor and the head of the detention center as the defendants, and we mailed our indictment to the persecutors as well as the court and the public prosecutor. It made a great stir in the local area, and the persecutors said they'd find an excuse to release the incarcerated practitioners. Other than two practitioners whom we are trying to rescue who received an arrest warrant, all other practitioners were unconditionally released, including those practitioners who were abducted at Dafa material production sites. Practitioners together mailed the indictment and truth clarification materials to the local governmental agencies, administrative departments, work units and companies. We did this to warn the persecutors to stop persecuting Dafa practitioners in their work units.

Aside from sending these indictments to the persecutors themselves and to judicial organs, we also sent it to street committees in all villages and towns in the county. The names of the defendants, including the Secretary of County Political and Judiciary Committee and other heads, are usually well known in the county. The news of their facing a lawsuit becomes an explosive headline, and the persecutors cannot conceal it even if they wanted to. Hearing this news, other persecutors would likely stop their evil ways and therefore have hope of being redeemed. The people also learn that anyone who persecutes Falun Gong is doing a bad thing and will receive karmic retribution sooner or later.

When the persecutors receive numerous indictments, letters and phone calls, sometimes they regret their evil ways and think, "Oh, so I was committing crimes by following Jiang in the persecution! So what should I do?" We sent special materials to the persecutors containing warnings that they should return money and property they had extorted from Dafa practitioners and re-instate the practitioners' jobs, to redeem themselves.

Our work of exposing and stopping the persecutors is still ongoing, and I wrote this article as a reference for fellow practitioners.

I have wanted to write an article like this for a long time, but I either didn't have time or couldn't pick up the pen. When I realized it was interference, I decided not to wait a second longer and write it immediately, and I finished it in half an hour. I hope fellow practitioners don't delay in things that they are able to do, otherwise our efforts of saving people may be affected.
