Falun Gong Practitioners Welcome Wen Jiabao's Visit to the US and Call for Bringing Jiang Zemin to Justice (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On December 7, 2003, nearly one hundred Falun Gong practitioners from Metropolitan New York and New Jersey gathered in front of the Waldorf Hotel in Manhattan, peacefully demonstrating the exercises to welcome Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao to the U.S. and to call for bringing Jiang Zemin, who is responsible for the brutal persecution of Falun Gong, to justice.

After the weekend's heavy snow in New York, Falun Gong practitioners held banners reading, "Premier Wen: Welcome to the U.S.," "Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice," and "Falun Dafa is good" in the bone-chilling wind. They displayed Falun Dafa's peacefulness to visiting Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and people passing by.

On the afternoon of December 7, 2003 (New York US Eastern Time) Wen Jiabao arrived in snow-swept New York for his four-day official visit to the U.S. It is the first time for Wen Jiabao to visit the U.S. since he took office as Chinese premier last March. The Chinese leader, a former engineer, will discuss a series of issues with the American leadership. It has been reported that Taiwan and Sino-US trade will be the two main topics. When Wen Jiabao's motorcade left the hotel for a meeting, accompanying personnel on the bus waved to greet Falun Gong practitioners.

When Jiang Zemin visited overseas, wherever he went, he would see the Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful protest and condemnation. In order to cover up the difficult position resulting from his unreasonable persecution of Falun Gong, Jiang's regime has been fabricating lies to defame Falun Gong in the past few years, so as to deceive people into supporting his suppression.

However, in the face of the brutal persecution, Falun Gong practitioners have never taken any violent means; instead, they have maintained their kindness and compassion all the time to tell people the facts about Falun Gong.

Practitioners inside China have unceasingly appealed to different levels of governmental departments according to the law. When access to appeals was illegally blocked by Jiang's regime, Falun Gong practitioners have to turn to society to clarify the truth to people from all walks of life, and to expose the Jiang regime's irrational and evil persecution of Falun Gong.

Outside China, practitioners are making use of every opportunity to tell people the facts about Falun Gong, so as to end the persecution as soon as possible. One practitioner who participated in this activity expressed, "Falun Gong overseas has won recognition and popularity in many countries, especially in the US. Falun Gong practitioners have received a large number of proclamations and awards from different governments and civil organizations. This time we welcome Wen Jiabao to the U.S., and we hope that he can have an opportunity to learn the truth about Falun Gong."

Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful and rational acts have constantly exposed the Jiang regime's lies. No matter how he covers them up, Jiang Zemin and his accomplices will not be able to escape from the punishment of law and their historical responsibility.
