The mayor of Meihekou City in Jilin Province, Zhang Hongren, had cruelly persecuted local Falun Dafa disciples. He sent dozens of Dafa disciples into jails and labor camps. In August 2003, Zhang Hongren died of a car accident.

Ma Junxia, a notorious female police officer at the No. 1 Jail in Handan City, Hebei Province, often beat and cursed Falun Gong practitioners. She married and had a child. Six months later her husband died accidentally during a drinking party. Many believe that she suffered the loss of her husband because of her evil deeds.

He Bailin, the former deputy Party Secretary for Xinhe Town, was over 30 years old. He confiscated many Falun Gong books, directed vicious policemen to search homes, persecuted Dafa disciples and cursed Dafa's Master. On October 2000, he suddenly collapsed on the floor and became unconscious. Although he did not die, he is now mentally handicapped.

Hu Cangfa, the former Party Secretary for Xinhe Town Liaoyuan Village had participated in the persecution of Dafa and died in a car accident in 2001.

Xiao Zhian, an agent for the Hancuan Insurance Company's Xinan branch, was over 20 years old. While his brother, a Dafa disciple, was arrested and detained, he and his father burned Dafa books and stepped on Master's photo. He even went to the jail to scold and curse his brother. On April 13, 2001, he rode a motorcycle and hit a parked car on the side of the road. He died instantly.

The former mayor from Fenghuang Town in Xinzhou County named Dong Wanxi asked people to tear down Dafa signs and banners. He died of cancer.

Yang Jingyu, a police officer at the Fenghuang Police Station in Xinzhou County beat Dafa disciples brutally. Afterwards he had a car accident and was unconscious for 24 hours.

Lei Lipu, a police officer from the Fenghuang Police station in Xinzhou County had handcuffed and hung up Dafa disciples and had savagely beaten them. He also destroyed Dafa signs everywhere. On one occasion he torn up a Dafa sign. The day after this incident, his son (less than 18 years old) beat up his schoolteacher, resulting in the teacher's death. The son received a life sentence.
