Young Practitioner Thrown into Masanjia Forced Labor Camp at Age Seventeen, Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison Three Years Later

(Clearwisdom.net) Cheng Ling, aged 20, from Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province, was illegally sentenced to seven years in prison just for preparing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. In 2001 when she was only 17 years old, Cheng Ling was thrown into Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for two years. Cheng Ling's mother and elder sister were also sent to this same camp to be persecuted. Her mother is still in detention there. Her father was also detained illegally many times.

Cheng Ling lived in the town of Goumenzi in Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province. Before Jiang began persecuting Dafa, the whole family (except her little brother) practiced Falun Dafa. During the four years since July 20, 1999, when Jiang and his cohorts started persecuting Falun Dafa and practitioners, Cheng Ling's family has suffered tremendously just because they would not give up their belief.

Cheng Ling was illegally arrested in July 2003 by agents from Shuangta Police Station, Chaoyang City, and taken to the city jail. She has now been detained for more than 4 months. She went on a hunger strike for 25 days to protest her persecution and was force-fed. She was then sentenced illegally to seven years by the Chaoyang City Court. This is the fifth time she has been persecuted.

In March 2001, when she was only 17, she was reported to officials for copying Dafa articles by hand. She was arrested by police officers from the Goumenzi Township Police Station and detained for four months in Lingyuan No. 2 Jail, where she was forced to pay 300 yuan for food. In September of the same year, she was again arrested by Goumenzi Township police and detained in Lingyuan No. 2 Jail for 15 days. In October, she was yet again illegally arrested by Goumenzi Township police and detained in Lingyuan No. 2 Jail for forced brainwashing. In November of the same year, because she participated in a group practice, she was arrested by the Goumenzi Township "610 Office" and the Township Police Station and detained in Lingyuan No. 2 Jail. The Lingyuan City Public Security Bureau then sentenced this 17-year-old to two years in a forced labor camp. She was transferred to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, Liaoning Province, for forced labor and brainwashing.

Cheng Yun, Cheng Ling's elder sister, is 21. On September 27, 2000, when she was only 17, she was arrested by Goumenzi Township police and detained in Lingyuan No. 2 Jail for one month. She was forced to pay 300 yuan in bail and 200 yuan for food. On December 27, 2000, the Lingyuan City Public Security Bureau sentenced her to two years in a labor camp. She was persecuted for two years and 10 days in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.

Zheng Lihua, Cheng Ling's mother, is 50. During the last four years she has been thrown into forced labor camps and brainwashed 7 times. On July 22, 1999, she was arrested by Goumenzi Township police and forced to pay a 200-yuan fine. On September 27 of the same year, she was arrested for no reason by Goumenzi Township police and sent to Lingyuan No. 2 Jail for one month. She was forced to pay a bail of 300 yuan and 200 yuan for food. In December 2000, she was sent to Lingyuan No. 2 Jail for two months and was forced to pay 350 yuan for food. In March 2001, she was sent to the No. 2 Jail again, this time for 15 days. In August 2002, she was sent to the No. 2 Jail yet again for 25 days of forced brainwashing. On April 25, 2003, she was abducted for no reason by Goumenzi Township police and sent to the No. 2 Jail for 50 days. Then she was transferred to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, Liaoning Province, for 3 years. Currently she is still being detained in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.

Cheng Guanghui, Cheng Ling's father, is 48. He was abducted, thrown into forced labor camps, and forced to endure brainwashing 9 times. On July 22, 1999, agents from Goumenzi Township Police Station ransacked his home and confiscated all Dafa books, videos, audiocassettes, etc. He was detained in the police station for 48 hours and then sent to Lingyuan No. 2 Jail for 15 days of detention, where he was forced to pay a bail of 300 yuan and 100 yuan for food. On September 27, 1999, Goumenzi Township police arrested Cheng Guanghui and sent him to No. 2 Jail, detained him for 45 days, and forced his family members to pay 500 yuan for his food. On December 12, 2000, when Cheng Guanghui went to Beijing to appeal, he was arrested by Tiananmen Police Station officers and transferred to Beijing Fangsan City Police Station. Because he would not tell his name or address, he was "interrogated" by the police, who severely beat him with punches and kicks, forced him to squat for hours, and shocked him with electric batons on his palms, back, neck, etc., for more than 20 hours. Later he was escorted to the Beijing Office of Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. He was thrown into Lingyuan No. 2 Jail and illegally detained for three and a half months by Goumenzi Police Station. The Lingyuan Public Security Bureau slated him for 3 years of labor camp detention with outside medical attention. During this time, Goumenzi police officers Li Guoqiang, Zhang Jingxiu and Zhang Yunbin beat him on the back, shoulders and waist for over two hours with a long plastic tube more than a meter long. This happened in the Section #1 Office of Lingyuan Public Security System. On December 19, he was interrogated again and was beaten for almost two hours in the same way. Prison cell guards on duty even checked to see how badly he was beaten in Lingyuan City No. 1 Jail. In March 2001, he was reported for copying Teacher's articles by hand. Consequently, police agents arrested and illegally detained him for 15 days. In September 2001, he was abducted by Goumenzi Township police and taken to the No. 2 Jail. After 25 days, they tried to transfer him to Chaoyang City Forced Labor Camp but were refused. On October 30, 2001, and in August 2002 Goumenzi Township police abducted Cheng Guanghui twice and sent himto No. 2 Jail for 33 days of brainwashing. Those that participated in this persecution are: No. 2 Jail Chief Sun Liansheng, Police Agent Li Wei, Lingyuan Public Security Vice Bureau Chief Dong Zhimin, Lingyuan Public Security State Security Brigadiers Fu Yanling and Ren Shengjun, "610 Office" Director Pang, and Political and Legal Secretary Zhang. On April 25, 2003, the new chiefs of the Goumenzi Township Police Station, Guo Yaohua and Zhang Yunbin, along with other officers, illegally broke into Cheng Guanghui's home searching for Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials. They illegally abducted Cheng Guanghui and sent him to Chaoyang City Forced Labor Camp. There he was subjected to forced brainwashing and forced labor for two and a half months. On September 8, 2003, Goumenzi "610 Office" Director Pang Yujun and Police Station Political Instructor Li Ke and others climbed over the walls of Cheng Guanghui's house and abducted him to the Chaoyang City Brainwashing Class for 12 days.

Cheng Guanghui's son was just 13 years old in 1999. He was a terrified witness to the arrest of all his family members, leaving no one to take care of him. He was emotionally devastated.
