Despite Snowstorm, New York Falun Gong Practitioners Continue Their Peaceful Appeal as Usual (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net, December 8, 2003) On December 6, despite the snowstorm, Falun Gong practitioners continued their quiet and peaceful exercise demonstration in front of the Chinese Consulate in New York City, to express their wish to end the persecution. Over the past more than two years, New York Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Consulate has not been interrupted even for a day.

When asking what Falun Gong practitioners would express when Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao arrives at New York City the next day, Ms. Song Yun said, "We understand that the persecution of Falun Gong in Mainland China was conducted by Jiang Zemin and his few accomplices. At present, Falun Gong practitioners have filed lawsuits against Jiang Zemin in different countries. We believe that justice will be eventually upheld. As for other leaders, we hope that they will clearly understand that Falun Gong is beneficial for society and stopping the persecution of Falun Gong will be good for the country and society."
