Clarify the Truth and Consolidate into One Indestructible Body with Righteous Thoughts -- Some Thoughts About Charles' Arrest

The evil old forces are not resigned to witness their own inevitable ending of destruction, but are putting up a last-ditch struggle.

Starting from last year, the evil old forces have extended their persecution of Falun Gong outside China. A number of democratic countries that are widely recognized as human rights advocates, under pressure from the evil head, committed deeds that violated the democratic and human rights principles of their countries, and put their countries and the people in serious jeopardy. In Germany, the police were forced to ban their citizens from wearing yellow clothing, and Asian-looking people were not allowed to enter the hotel where Jiang stayed. In Iceland, the "Blacklist" provided by Jiang's regime caused Falun Gong practitioners from different countries to be detained at the Iceland airport; Iceland Airline even refused Falun Gong practitioners to board the Iceland-bound flights. In Hong Kong, several Swiss practitioners were arrested with force by the police when they made their appeal, and were unreasonably charged. In New Zealand, the advertisement with Falun Gong meditation exercises at the Auckland Airport was removed...

This year, the evil forces acted with total disregard to international laws and the sovereign dignity of other countries, and arrested without justification Australian and US citizens who went back to China to visit their families. The detention of Falun Gong practitioners is persecution that goes beyond national boundaries. It has been reported that on January 22, US citizen Charles Li was arrested by the Chinese police the moment he landed at Guangzhou Airport from San Francisco, and was then immediately escorted to Yangzhou City one thousand miles away, with the intent to put Charles away for 7-15 years with trumped up charges.

In view of the recent legal action taken against the evil head, apparently it has not resigned to be exposed and eliminated, and did not hesitate to retaliate with whatever means, however despicable, at its disposal. The arrest of US citizen Charles Li has undoubtedly a lot to do with this.

When we reflect on the series of incidents of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners outside China that happened last year, it imparts a sense of urgency for us to let all the governments and people worldwide realize Jiang's evilness. All Dafa disciples are one body, just like Master Li told us, "The next person's things are your things, and your things are his things." ("Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference") Only when we become one body and clearly understand every incident from within the Fa, can things in the human world change with our thoughts. We should not be stuck with the argument about whether Charles Li should have gone to China or not, instead we should try to understand the essence behind this incident. Only then, can we thoroughly deny the arrangement of the old forces. The detention of Charles Li is persecution of Dafa disciples and the manifestation of evil old forces' last rampant struggle. Such incident is not a local matter of any specific area, but has to do with every Dafa disciple.

Charles Li's trip to China did not violate any Chinese law. There is no justification for his arrest. He should be released immediately and returned to the US. In addition, the stance of the US government regarding this incident will affect the future of US citizens. How this will play out completely depends on whether the thoughts of each of us Dafa disciples are righteous, and whether we can strengthen to become one body thereby completely denying the existence of the old forces and their arrangements.

We cannot rely on the change of the external environment and we should let the public see that the persecution of innocent and kind people by Jiang's regime is not confined to China, but has extended beyond its borders, and can affect every one of us. We must use all means possible to thoroughly and comprehensively clarify the truth to the US government and the people as well as the US Embassy in China, so that the US government and the people can make the proper choice for themselves.
