(Clearwisdom.net) Every Dafa practitioner knows that we should negate the old forces' arrangements, but what does negating the old forces truly mean?

After studying Master's article, "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A." I gained a deeper understanding on this issue. Master said, "...you have to follow the requirements of Dafa and the Fa-rectification... ' I absolutely will not acknowledge any of those things you arranged in the past, old forces. I don't even acknowledge you.' When your righteous thoughts are very strong you can purge it and you can reject their arrangements." So to truly negate the old forces is not to acknowledge the old forces themselves, which means, we don't have the concept of the old forces in our minds at all. We just do what conforms to the Fa.

The old forces made levels upon levels of arrangements to persecute Dafa. Aren't we included in these arrangements as well? Our mission is to assist Master in Fa-rectification, not to destroy the old forces or play games with them. I remember many Dafa practitioners who were detained in a city's detention center. At first, the vicious police treated the practitioners very badly and didn't allow them to practice or study the Fa. Later, the practitioners all realized they must create an environment for Fa study and doing exercises. The evil eventually agreed to let the Dafa practitioners do exercises in the detention center and they returned the confiscated Dafa books. They also loosened control on group Fa study and said it was permitted as long as the practitioners didn't go to Beijing to appeal. After a while, the practitioners suddenly realized that this was another trick the evil was playing. Our mission is to help Master rectify the Fa and save people, not to create an environment for Fa study and for doing exercises. Soon after the practitioners realized this they were released, one after another.

This story greatly inspired me. Indeed, as Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples, we don't acknowledge any of the evil's arrangements at all, and we don't allow the concept of the old forces to exist in our mind. As long as we enlighten righteously in the Fa, as long as something can validate the Fa and save people, we should do it. We shouldn't mind at all how the old forces arranged it. All of our righteous thoughts and righteous actions in assisting Master in Fa-rectification come from Dafa. The old forces' arrangements should not make our minds waver in any way at all. Any unsteadiness of mind shows that we have not yet stepped out of the old forces' arrangements and this will interfere with our righteous thoughts and righteous actions.

I clarified the truth to my colleagues and gave them VCDs, which worked very well. They also passed the VCDs to other people and told them the truth. One day, a colleague told me that my superiors now knew that I practiced Falun Gong, because someone reported me, and they might try to cause trouble for me next. Another colleague said to me, "I heard the bosses say that they were going to ask someone else to take over your job." I was very calm when I heared the news. I thought: Most of my colleagues at work have learned the truth. As for my superiors, I have not yet had an opportunity to clarify the truth to them. Maybe this is their only opportunity to learn the truth. It's not important whether my work unit wants me to leave or not.

Faced with the complex environment at work, I did not think about anything, even when I heard that my work unit might investigate my background. I had used the Internet earlier, and because of that the police came to my city and looked for me for four days. I didn't think about how my superiors might treat me, because any thought on my part, what they might do to me, would be irresponsible to sentient beings. I didn't even think, "This is the evil's interference, I must eliminate it and not allow it to ruin my job," although I depended on my job for my livelihood. I believe even this kind of thinking has omissions. Do I have to keep my job to break through the evil's arrangements? Saving people is the most important thing!

Master said, "In doing the exercises, if you do not think about good things, at least you should not think about bad things. It is best if you do not think about anything." (Zhuan Falun) "Get rid of any attachment you have, and don't think about anything. Just do everything a Dafa disciple should do, and everything will be covered." ("Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Fa Conference") My understanding is that it is bad to think of either good things or bad things. The old forces just want us to think as they have arranged. They would even arrange a result that we had hoped for in order to interfere with Fa-rectification. We should have rock-solid determination in Dafa and do everything according to Master's requirements. We must live up to the requirement of Fa-rectification right now, and one of these requirements is negating the old forces. We should not concern ourselves with any outcome. My superiors know that I practice Falun Gong. This in itself is the truth, because I am a good and responsible staff member. Isn't this negating the media propaganda?

The result was unexpected. My boss nominated me as one of six "Extraordinary Workers for 2002," knowing that I'm a Falun Gong practitioner. My name was put on the honor roll, and I was given a monetary reward and a certificate. Afterwards, my boss told me, "It's right to practice Falun Gong, and there is no problem as you are so healthy. Practice as much as you like at home. I trust you, as a person. Nobody in the company can compare with your diligence. You are a role model. If you want to avoid something because of your belief, just let us know. We'll give you the green light."

On this issue, I never thought about how the old forces would arrange things and how I should break away from them. I just thought about how to do things according to Dafa and save people according to what Fa-rectification requires of us at this time. "Your righteous thoughts and everything you accomplish come from the Fa..." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A") When your mind is filled with the Fa and benevolence, the energy given to you by the Fa is the most righteous, and this is the best way to break away from the evil's arrangements. With no concept of the old forces in your mind, the old forces will have no reason to exist in your dimensional field. If all Dafa practitioners do not have the old forces in their minds, then the old forces will forever cease to exist in the cosmos. Let us study the Fa more, completely step out of the old forces' arrangements, and take every step well in Fa-rectification.
