Arrest of Dafa Practitioners Qu Hongrong and Her Daughter-in-Law Leaves Young Child Motherless

February 1, 2003

(Clearwisdom.net) In the middle of April 2002, Dafa practitioner Qu Hongrong and her daughter-in-law from Xuling Township, Zhuanghe Suburb, Dalian City of Liaoning Province were arrested and sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province for forced labor. The little grandson was not yet two-years-old. That evening, township police received orders from higher authorities to break into Qu Hongrong's home, illegally ransack it and arrest people. The child was awakened by the break-in and cried for his mother. The police pushed the mother and daughter-in-law out of the door amidst the crying of the young boy, and then forced them into the police car.

The child was deprived of his mother and grandmother, and the father and grandfather were not capable of taking care of him. They did not know how to cook. In the beginning, kind-hearted neighbors brought some meals to the young boy, but he always thought about his mother, and often cried himself to sleep. The effect on his little heart was detrimental. During the day, when the child saw a young woman passing by, he would call the lady "mother." Hearing the young boy cry out this way, the grandfather could not hold back his tears.

Qu Hongrong and her daughter-in-law did not violate the law. They were persecuted just for practicing Falun Gong, being good persons, refining themselves according to "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance" and speaking the truth. These innocent people were illegally arrested and sentenced. On the Chinese New Year, which is a time for the reunion of the entire family, this poor child could not even see his mother.
