After Learning the Truth -- The Story of Our Young Chinese Neighbor in Germany

(Clearwisdom.net) A twenty year-old Chinese man moved into our apartment building. He seemed righteous from the beginning. I met him when I was cooking in the shared kitchen and spoke to him of Falun Gong. In the evening, I went to his place to give him a VCD and pamphlet that clarified the truth in Chinese. He said, "I received this VCD when I was in Berlin, and I already watched the truth about the so-called self-immolation. The persecution has really gone too far. I have never read this pamphlet. Thanks a lot." After a while, he came to my door, saying that he wanted to borrow a copy of Zhuan Falun. In this way, he came to know more and more of the truth about Dafa. He even listened to some of Teacher's lectures at another practitioner's home, although he was unable, for the time being, to understand some phenomena in cultivation practice mentioned in the book.

One day he heard about the signature drive to rescue Ms. Xiong Wei (See http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2002/12/22/30057.html), a former student at the Berlin Industrial University who was arrested in Beijing last January while she was distributing materials exposing the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong. He asked on his own accord for a form to collect signatures and made copies of it. He asked professors and students for signatures before and after classes. On several consecutive evenings, he came to me with many signatures that he had collected and talked happily about his experience collecting signatures. For instance, he once talked about Ms. Xiong Wei to a professor before a class lecture. Then, the professor told the students about it at the beginning of the class and asked students to sign the form. The result was really very good. Looking at these forms, he sighed and said, "If each of ten thousand practitioners collected one hundred signatures, there would be a million signatures. What a significant impact that would have!" Seeing that he had a pure heart, I told him truly that one will get good rewards for treating Falun Dafa well. He said, "I didn't know anything about Falun Gong when I was in China. After watching the propaganda programs on CCTV [Editor's note: China Central Television; China's state-owned television network and self-proclaimed mouth-piece of the Communist Party, which frequently broadcasts fabricated stories about Falun Gong.], I had also spoken some bad words about Falun Gong among my friends. Having contacted Falun Gong practitioners here, I think all of you are good people, and what Teacher Li teaches is really reasonable and meaningful, unlike what was shown on the TV programs in China. I see what you are doing is not easy and am willing to do my best to help you." Then, he started to clarify the truth to his relatives and friends.

On one evening, he came to give me the signatures he had collected right at the time when we were sending forth righteous thoughts. So, I explained sending forth righteous thoughts to him and briefly showed him the way to do it. A little while later, he came knocking at my door and sighed with emotion, "It is too miraculous! It is too magical! And I really believe in it now!" It turned out that he had tried to send forth righteous thoughts after returning to his apartment. After calming down with his eyes closed, he saw something moving before his eyes. When he opened his eyes, he saw nothing. But he saw it again after he closed his eyes and saw nothing when he opened his eyes again. He finally closed his eyes and simply ignored it. When he made the lotus hand gesture, he felt strong energy going from his waist up to his head and flying out from his head. The energy was very tangible and reminded him of his experience of learning the fifth excise from a practitioner. At that time, he had felt similar powerful energy.

Seeing his excitement, I deeply understood the importance of losing no time to clarify the truth and save sentient beings.
