[Jiaozuo City, Henan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Are Illegally
Arrested
Wang Junying (female) and Yan Aiying (female) are being illegally detained
in the Shibalihe Forced Labor Camp once again. They have already served one
and one-half years of illegal detention in a labor camp.
Zhao Zhe, former employee of the Commercial Bank, had no choice but to
become homeless in order to avoid being illegally arrested from his home. At
the end of 2002 he was illegally arrested and is currently being detained in
the Shibalihe Forced Labor Camp.
In November of last year, a Hongxiang couple was arrested and detained.
Wang Juan (female), a practitioner working in their store, was also illegally
detained and has not been released. The store's driver, a non-practitioner,
has been harassed many times by the authorities.
[Linxia County, Gansu Province] Practitioner Jiao Tianyun Is Forced to
Leave Home Just After Release from Sixteen Months Detention in Forced Labor
Camp
Linxia Practitioner Jiao Tianyun was illegally detained in a forced labor
camp for 16 months because he remained firm in his cultivation of Falun Dafa.
Han Dailong, Commissioner of Linxia County, Li Wenzhong, Party Secretary of
Xianfeng Township, and Qi Xianjun, Head of Xianfeng Township, illegally fired
Jiao from his job to intensify the persecution against him. Facing constant
harassment for remaining resolute in his commitment to practice Falun Dafa,
Jiao Tianyun had no choice but to leave home to avoid arrest. He has no income
or other means of support while the police relentlessly search him out.
[Beijing] Jiang's Regime Drains the Entire Country's Resources to Persecute
Falun Dafa
According to a trusted source with information from the Beijing Financial
Bureau, Beijing alone has already spent over 400 billion Yuan [some 50
billion US dollars] in persecuting Falun Dafa. Think about it, what has
Jiang's regime been doing these past three years? What a wasteful and
ridiculous expenditure of funds!
[Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioners Liu Limin and Fang Xinghua Are
Once Again Illegally Arrested
Wuchang practitioner Liu Limin (female) was illegally detained in a forced
labor camp. She has not been released even though her the term of her sentence
has passed. In January 2003, the Municipal Police and the "610 Office" [an
agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over
each level of administration in the Party and all other political and
judiciary systems] forced her into brainwashing in Yangyuan, in the
Wuchang Area. They deprived her of sleep and arranged for over a dozen
collaborators [practitioners who have renounced Falun Dafa due to extreme
torture and brainwashing] to take turns torturing her. Consequently, Liu
Limin's legs became so swollen that she could not stand, her eyes became
extremely swollen, and she became incontinent, soiling herself at night. Even
the collaborators were complaining that they couldn't bear her suffering.
However, Liu Limin never yielded in her belief. After more than ten days of
persecution in the brainwashing class she was secretly transferred to an
unknown location. We are very concerned about her present health condition.
Fang Xinghua, an employee of the Yangyuan No. 4 Railway Hospital, is being
detained again after publishing a solemn declaration [a person's public
statement declaring to the world that whatever he or she has done or said
under duress or deception that was against Falun Dafa is null and void].
[Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Huang Xiangwei, Chi
Yumin and Shan Yufeng Are Illegally Sentenced to Forced Labor Camp
Huang Xiangwei (male), from Pingfang District, was illegally sentenced to
three years in a forced labor camp.
Chi Yumin (female) and Shan Yufeng (female) were each illegally sentenced
to three years of forced labor prior to the 16th Party Congress.
[Gansu Province] Student World Slanders Falun Dafa And Deceives
Pupils
Student World, a magazine hosted and published by the Gansu Education
Press, published an article in its "News Window" column in the September 2002
Issue (A, 85th Issue), ostensibly reporting on the "Xin'nuo No. 1
Satellite Event" that occurred in June of 2002. The article viciously slanders
Falun Dafa and distorts the facts in an attempt to mislead and poison its
student readers -- especially pupils who are too young to tell right from
wrong.

[Changle County, Shandong Province] Practitioner Li Wenchang Is Illegally
Sentenced to 8 Years in Prison
Li Wenchang is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Zhangqiao Village, Luocheng
Town, Shouguang City, Shandong Province. For the past several years, he has
put up many banners with "Falun Dafa is good!" and
"Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" in villages throughout Changle County. In
November of 2002 he was illegally arrested, and on January 8, 2003, he was
sentenced to 8 years in prison.
[Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] The Crimes Committed by Qiao Ping
And Li Fu
Qiao Ping, a policeman from Mudanjiang City, was promoted to the Municipal
Police for his extreme efforts in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners in the
Aiming District. Li Fu, a policeman from the Municipal Police, has been
involved in persecuting Falun Dafa since 1999. These two individuals are the
murderers who tortured practitioner Ye Lianping (female) to death.
[Zizhong City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Wang Xiufang Is Illegally
Sentenced to 8 Years in Prison
Wang Xiufang (female) is an employee from the Zizhong Brick & Tile Plant.
She was illegally arrested after nearly a year of being homeless, having been
forced to leave her home in attempts to avoid illegal arrest. She was
sentenced to 8 years in prison. In addition, the police extorted over 100,000
Yuan from her [equal to 16 years' average income for an ordinary worker in
China] to cover alleged expenses incurred by the police while traveling to
Beijing to find her.
