Police in Gaoyang, Hebei Province Forced Labor Camp Bury Falun Gong Practitioners to Torture Them

February 1, 2003

(Clearwisdon.net) The Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp in Baoding City, Hebei Province brutally persecutes Falun Gong practitioners. To force practitioners to give up practicing Falun Gong, police have intensified the torture. They use electric shock torture, corporal punishments such as hand cuffing practitioners and forcing them to maintain a squatting stance for extended periods of time, and they even stoop so low as to force-feed practitioners human feces.

Recently they began burying practitioners alive as yet another cruel means of torture. Quite a number of practitioners have already been tortured this way, with some having been forced to endure it several times. Police often pull practitioners out at midnight for this treatment. A pit is dug, the practitioner thrown into it, and then filled up to the practitioner's neck. Only the head remains unburied, sticking up above the soil. The heavy weight of the soil pressing down makes breathing very difficult. But the police do not stop there. They cover the practitioner's head with pieces of cloth so that passers-by cannot see that a human being is buried there. They keep the practitioner in the pit until the next morning.

Police are using this cruel method to torture practitioners right now. We hope all people who have a sense of righteousness will pay attention to this issue and help to rescue all practitioners illegally jailed in China.
