In Memory of Female Dafa Practitioner Luo Zhixiang

Female Dafa Practitioner Luo Zhixiang was arrested and sent to a brainwashing center by the "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] in Guangzhou City, Guangdong province, where she died as a result of the torture she received in detention. Luo Zhixiang was a planning engineer from a design office at the Guangdong Agriculture and Reclamation Construction Industry head office. She worked diligently and conscientiously, and did not have a competitive mentality at all. In order to persist in clarifying the truth and protecting Dafa, she became homeless while being persecuted by the authorities . Then, sadly, she was tortured to death on December 4^th, 2002.

In June 2000, Luo Zhixiang was married, and she traveled to Beijing to validate Dafa. When I arrived in Beijing, she had safely returned after unfurling a banner in Tiananmen Square. However, after she met up with us, she returned to Tiananmen Square and was detained by police. She was later released after conducting a hunger strike for three days and nights.

At the end of 2000, she became pregnant. After 5 or 6 months of pregnancy, she again validated Dafa in Tiananmen Square. She took a train, and arrived at night. When the train arrived, she got off and rushed to Tiananmen Square to unfurl the banner. The police caught her and said, "Falun Gong practitioners all come in the daytime, and no one comes at night. You can go now." She said to the police: "Dafa practitioners validate Dafa no matter whether it's day or night." She enlightened that she should come to validate Dafa in Tiananmen Square during the daytime on the second day. Thereupon, she went to Tiananmen Square again on the next day. This time she was caught by the police and detained in a detention centre in a suburb of Beijing. She refused food and water to protest the persecution. A few days later, she was released. But she did not leave Beijing, she shared her experience with fellow practitioners, and decided to go to Tiananmen Square on December 31^st. This time she was taken to the local police station by policemen. She had no fear, and walked out of the local police station in a dignified manner. After she came out, we together continued to expose the evil and clarified the truth.

Dafa practitioner Luo Zhixiang has passed away now, and her husband is also detained in a detention center. Their two-year-old daughter is left at home without her parent's care. This is another blood debt owed by Jiang's political scoundrel regime. I wrote this short article just to express our deep memory and the loftiest respect to her!
