Dafa Practitioner Wang Junsheng from Laiwu City, Shandong Province Is Illegally Put on Trial

Wang Junsheng, a staff member at the General Steel Company in Laiwu City, Shandong Province, went to Beijing to appeal many times after July 20, 1999. He was persecuted by the "610 Office" [An agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] in the Gangcheng District and the local police. In order to avoid further persecution, he had little choice but to leave the comfort of his home behind, and adopt a life of homelessness. Later on, the police illegally issued a warrant for his arrest and promised to pay a large reward to anyone who would turn Junsheng in. In April 2002, Junsheng was illegally arrested by the Guansi Police Station in Laiwu City and was detained in the Laiwu City Detention Center. He was put in with common criminals. He protested his detention by fasting many times, and he was mercilessly beaten by the police and criminals. His 70 year-old father came to visit him but the police did not allow his father to see him.

In July 2002, conspiring with the court, the "610 Office" cooked up some so-called "evidence" and wanted to sentence Junsheng. On October 2^nd, the court had a "trial" and appointed an attorney for Junsheng. Junsheng told them, "I will not use the appointed attorney if the attorney cannot stand up for Dafa. I only spoke the truth about Falun Dafa, exposing the evil persecution. I am not guilty of any crime. You cannot sentence me!" In the face of Junsheng's righteous defense, the court stopped the trial, but Junsheng is still being held at the Laiwu City Detention Center.

In December 2002, Junsheng's wife heard that the police wanted to sentence her husband. Not wanting to get implicated, she brought her three-year-old daughter with her to initiate divorces papers. The "610 Office" in the Gangcheng District and the court visited Junsheng in detention center in order to compel him to sign the divorce papers, but he refused. Nonetheless the court still went through with the divorce procedures without his consent.

All kindhearted people, please pay attention to the persecution of Dafa practitioners by Jiang's regime.
