Israel: Citizens in Tel Aviv Show Support for Falun Gong (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Last Friday on February 7, 2003, many residents in Tel Aviv stopped in front of the Falun Dafa practitioners' information desk and expressed shock at the ongoing suppression in China. They also expressed sympathy for those persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners in China.

The practitioners came to one corner of the street where Dafa banners were being displayed. Some of them practiced the exercises, some sent forth righteous thoughts, some sat beside the information desk to hand out materials to passersby and explained to them about the Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong. Many people wanted to sign their names on the petition letter to help stop the persecution and release Xiong Wei, sister of an Israeli citizen. Xiong Wei was arrested in China for distributing Dafa truth-clarifying flyers and has been detained for over a year. People from all walks of life asked where they could practice the exercises. Some of them wanted to learn the exercises immediately and bought Dafa books.

Dafa practitioners have been invited to participate in a Health and Food Fair held every week in the community's activity center.
