Indianapolis, USA: "Journey of Falun Dafa" Photo Exhibition Held in State Capitol Building (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) From January 20 to 26, 2003, Falun Dafa practitioners in Indiana held a "Journey of Falun Dafa" photo exhibition in the State Capitol building in the city of Indianapolis. The photo exhibit once again brought the beauty of Dafa and introduced the persecution facts to the locals. Practitioners used this opportunity to send invitations to the governor and state representatives to help them learn the true situation about Falun Dafa. A major local newspaper, the Indianapolis Star, published a story about the exhibition.

In January, the State Assembly and Senate resumed their normal work after the holidays. In the Capitol building, many people came and went. The photo exhibit drew many people's attention. They stopped to look and asked for more information. The cold weather did not stop people from coming to view the exhibit. Some people even learned the Falun Gong exercises on the spot. We talked with the police officers working in the building and explained the facts of the persecution to them. We invited them to read Dafa truth-clarifying materials and watch VCD's. Later, a police officer expressed his wish to learn Falun Gong. When he learned that we have group exercise and provide free exercise instruction every Saturday, he said, "It is such a pity that I have to work on Saturday. Perhaps I will learn Falun Gong from you later." Indiana State Senator Mr. Robert Garton came to visit the exhibit and wrote us a letter to express his appreciation.

During the exhibition, we encountered various kinds of interference. While sending forth righteous thoughts, practitioners used their kind hearts to resolve the problems, which showed their demeanor of considering others first. Practitioners cooperated well with each other and experienced the power of being one body. We firmly believe that as long as we are doing things in line with the Fa and keep cultivating ourselves by looking within, we are able to break the separation imposed by the old forces and cement ourselves into an integrated entity as solid as diamond. Thus we can do our best together in the Fa-rectification process.
