Germany: Hanover Information Day Exposes the Persecution of Practitioners in China

This was the first information day of 2003 in northern Germany. Our idea was to continue exposing the brutal persecution occurring in China to the general public. Besides, it was also a good opportunity for fellow practitioners to share experiences and to communicate with each other.

I did not expect too many practitioners to join us in Hanover because they are all very busy, but to my surprise there were many practitioners from Niedersachsen State, Bremen, and Hamburg, some of whom I had not seen for a long time. I was happy that so many practitioners could come.

The information day was most successful. We demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises every hour. Many people took the leaflets and Video-CDs, and showed an understanding of Falun Gong and the persecution occurring in China. Many Chinese who were passing by were very glad to accept the materials. A group of Chinese tourists also came by. One of them stayed for a long time, and took a flyer. I could feel the difference between the present and the past. The lies and propaganda from Jiang's regime are becoming less and less effectual.

Because it was at the time of the Niedersachsen State campaign, some practitioners used this great opportunity to communicate with local government officials. They told them the truth about the situation in China, and at the same time requested their help. It happened that they also had an information stand. They happily accepted our materials, and promised to help.
