During her illegal detention Nancy Chen was interrogated from beginning to end by a man named Liao Xiaoxing, who is from the Sichuan Provincial Public Security Bureau. This man, about 40 years old, often reads articles from Clearwisdom Net and other truth clarification materials and CD's; however, he has positioned himself opposite of Dafa and persecutes Falun Gong.

In carrying out the orders from the "610 Office," the Longshan "Reform" School, Shenyang City has frantically persecuted steadfast Falun Dafa practitioners. The "reform" school did not allow the practitioners to go to bed for 24 hours and the head of the school even threatened, "Kill her if she refuses to be 'reformed'". Now the thugs have confined these steadfast Dafa practitioners in a small building in Zhangshi "Reform" School and are prepared to torture these practitioners in cruel ways.

On October 1^st, last year, a cloud of terror hung over the whole city of Zhaoyuan. Policemen went on a rampage in their police cars clamouring that someone reported Falun Dafa practitioners were handing out flyers. Just at that time, two middle-aged women from Lijia Village went to the restroom. The policemen, who were eager to render meritorious service, forcefully dragged them into a police car without asking questions or listening to their explanations, and drove to Quanshan Police Substation. The two women stood firm and vehemently denied they practiced Falun Dafa. Investigation showed that the police had detained the wrong women. Then the families of the two women lodged a strong protest and said that they would not let it go at that. The incident aroused popular indignation and the police found it was hard to wind the matter up. As a result, the head of the Quanshan Substation, Liu Zhizhu, and the Director of the "610 Office" Lan had no way out but went bowing and begging the head of the village where the two women were from to plead for them. The matter was ended only after the head of the substation, Liu Zhizhu and the policemen involved made repeated apologies, invited the victims to a meal and compensated them with three thousand yuan.

This incident has aroused strong repercussions in the local area. People were all offended by the savageness and hypocrisy of the personnel from the "610 Office".

Falun Dafa practitioner Xue Jiao, female, from Baoshan District, Shanghai was illegally detained in July 2001 and sentenced to undergo forced labour reform, and it's reported that she has suffered a mental collapse. The actual details are unknown, but she was absolutely normal before being detained. It's not clear what the policemen did to her. She is still being illegally held at the Tilanqiao Prison.

Also detained and sentenced to undergo forced labour reform were nine other Falun Dafa practitioners from Baoshan District, including Yao Weihua, Jin Wenfeng, Zhang Qiusha (female) and Xue Jiao's husband.

1. Yu Fangzheng, about 40 years old, was a member of the Zhongjing Town Political and Judiciary Committee and now works in the Tuanwang Town government, specializing in persecuting Dafa practitioners. In 2001 a group of thugs led by Yu Fangzheng arrested a female practitioner and her husband, who was not a practitioner, and took them to the town government. He tried to force the couple to say where they got Falun Dafa materials. When they refused, he brutally twisted their arms behind their backs and then he punched and kicked them. As a result, their arms were hurt so badly that the couple could not work for several months. At last the thugs forced the practitioner's husband to pay 4,000 dollars for the release of his wife.
2. On a February evening in 2002, about 20 people from the Laiyang City Public Security Bureau led by the Tuanwang Town police substation illegally broke into the homes of two women Dafa practitioners, Liu Cailian and Gao Xinghua. These lawless people ransacked boxes and chests and took away several Dafa books and other materials. Liu Cailian had 1250 Chinese yuan (equivalent to about 150 US dollars) in the wardrobe. The police insisted the money was from the sale of Dafa books so they took the money and arrested the practitioner.

1. Zheng Lishan, deputy head of the Hetoudian Town Police Substation, Laixi City, Shandong Province, gladly seizes every chance to seek or secure personal gain. He is also cruel and ruthless and has never done things according to the law, so he had a very bad name among the local people. He works extremely hard in persecuting Dafa. Though he knows that Falun Dafa practitioners are good people he still does as he wants. When he goes to arrest people, he shows neither his ID nor follows proper procedures. To those who disobey him, he swears and beats them, according to his whim. Zheng Lishan has also recruited local riffraff and ruffians as his lackeys. They tyrannize the local area and have become pests.
   
2. Zhou Daiyun: Communist Party Secretary of the Xizhongzhi Village, Hetoudian Zhen, Laixi City, Shandong Province and Zhou Lanqing: Director of the Public Security of the Xizhongzhi Village, Hetoudian Zhen, Laixi City, Shandong Province.
   
   Dafa practitioners clarified the truth to these two men a few times and they know that Falun Dafa is good and Dafa practitioners are good people. They even said to Falun Dafa practitioner to their faces that they are good people. However, behind their backs these two men informed the police about practitioners' activities many times and assisted the police to do bad things. Female practitioner Meng Peihua and her family were persecuted severely. Meng Peihua was forced to leave home due to the persecution; her husband was sentenced to 4 years imprisonment by the Laixi City Court for refusing to give up his belief; her daughter was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment and her son was kicked out of Nanlan High School. Now her home is empty. Recently Meng Peihua came back a few times but this was reported, and she was nearly arrested. Falun Dafa practitioners of this village are all suffering from the persecution to varying degrees.
