Zhu Lixin had already been forced to resign from her job and was unemployed when she was arrested, yet her former work unit still handed in thousands of Yuan to higher authorities, and paid the "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) of Laixi County to take Zhu Lixin in for brainwashing in Qingdao City at a time when the workunit had a very tight budget. Its employees were laid off, and its workers were even unable to afford their own meals. Zhu is currently being held in a labor camp.
